Hey, Everybody,

Have visited the site many times and found it very useful have joined now and seek input and suggestions to a problem I've run into.

I have degenerative discs in my back as well as spinal stenosis. I have entered into a pain contract with a doctor at my local hospital. Due in part to recreational use and also a motor scooter accident, I have used up all my norcos early. I am due for my next appointment on Wednesday morning. I reported to the nurse that I'd had an accident and had been taking the pills "as needed" and was close to running out. The doc called in a script for tramadol.

Based on my talks with the nurse, I am concerned about showing up for the appt w/o any norcos left and likely w/o any opiates in my system. There is a likelihood under this scenario that I'll be fired from the pain clinic.

I have a chance to score some tar tomorrow and thus have opiates in my system for the appt.

Does anyone know if the typical pain clinic UA/drug screen makes a distinction as to what kind of opiates are in my system? Is there a chance I will get flagged by the UA for having tar in my system?

Please advise. I need to continue my meds in order to function at my job.

We don't do drug testing questions; sorry.

There are a multitude of different drug tests that a clinic could be using; you will have to find out this information about the one you go to by yourself, and then do further research.

Welcome to Bluelight, and I'm sorry to hear about your predicament.
