ADHD meds n mixing/overdose question

I take the Daytrana patch 20 mg once a day, in am.

The subtle onset n come down from the patch makes me love the patch bc I have severe panic but not from the patch.

Anyway, I was on 20 mg Ritalin pill form twice a day. I still have the pills.

The patch, while easy going for anxiety-freaked people, is not doin the focus n concentration the pill did.

Til I reach my dr, if I took 10-20 mgs in pill form could I overdose bc I have the patch on also?

If ya need to kno more about the patch it's
20 mg (55 mg contained total in patch)
2.2 mgs are released an hr at a time til 9 hrs when ur suppose to remove it.

I just wanna see if addin a small amount of the pill form will improve my adhd behaviors better.

Taking a pill will certainly boost the level of methylphenidate (Ritalin) in your blood a lot quicker than it raises with the patch. Does taking the tablets normally give you anxiety/panic type reactions?

NT, only when the pills wear off do I get anxiety. But I have a plentiful supply of various benzos.

Dr still hasn't called bk so I haven't take any pills, just my patch as rx'd.

So, u don't believe it would lead to overdose? I mean it'd only be 40 mg total.
