Hi wondering if I can have a beer and some champagne while taking ADHD medicine (vyvanse). I know mixing pills and alcohol is bad but I really am just going to have one beer and a glass of champagne. So worrying/wondering if this is okay for new years!

Thanks for all input

It's okay. Downer are what you shouldn't mix with alcohol(and yet I still do it anyway). The vyvanse might make you feel more sober than you really are, and you may end up drinking more.

I find a couple beers takes the edge off uppers.

I've amazed myself at how much i could drink while doing coke. The next day i asked myself how i didnt die. Be careful cause you can drink more when on uppers and some bad stuff might happen.

Yes, you can drink, just not so much that you are nearing alcohol poisoning as that could be very well masked by the amphetamine.

You're going to get a synergistic hangover, but a lessened high from each. Not worth it in my experience. However a small amount to keep you awake and functioning while going out has never done me wrong.

An ADHD medication will likely mask the effects of alcohol intoxication, and so it's easy to drink more than you would normally. Just be sure to keep track of the time and how many drinks you're having.

Two drinks should be fine, but I've found alcohol blunts ADHD medication to the point where you need more
