Adding DMT to OxyContin to deter abuse

Let's say all pharma companies started compounding abuseable opiates with a significant dose of DMT.

Inactive orally, when taken as prescribed, but if it's IV'ed, snorted, plugged, etc....NASTY SURPRISE!!!

The chances of that happening IMO,are about the same chance of me getting pregnant, and I am most certainly, a guy.

I'd love a prescription strong opiate that came with free DMT.
 
This reminds me of peyote and LSD being used in treatments of alcoholics; if only we lived in a different world ~ run by Timothy Leary and Terrance McKenna.
 
I think this is actually a pretty good idea...'cause your typical opioid addict is NOT going to want to trip on DMT multiple times a day, every day. I think it would be a wonderful abuse deterrent, because you'll have a nasty trip via every ROA besides oral.

BTW I've IV'd heroin and DMT together and found it highly pleasurable.
 
I guess my question is: if all your favorite pills caused you to have a full-blown trip on DMT when abused, would you continue to seek them out?

If not mistaken I may have been the first person to write about the effects of DMT in conguntion with heroin IVed.

No, you'd need something that would actually make them really miserable if they IV'd it, like an orally inactive opioid antagonist or histaminergic partial agonist. I'd say adding DMT would make people much more likely to IV it.
 
^ true enough and that first crossed my mind but i like the image of the reinforcement of someone puking their guts out =D

and that may be enough to keep them away from all opiate abuse :D

Anybody who is opiate dependant would puke their guts anyway as part of being subjected to withdrawls at a Speedy Gonzales rate of onset. Those not dependant would think "crap" and not bother again

and nobody sues the pharm company!
 
i think the problem with adding the narcotic antagonists is that they can still be IV'ed by people with no opioid tolerance (like suboxone)

I still think DMT wins. I'm about to patent this idea.
 
I would so pay extra for that on the black market.
 
some smart little chemist would come up with an extraction and it would be problem solved.

Has the APAP content prevented opiate abuse?

After banging it several times wouldn't you have a tolerence to the dmt and it'd be ineffective?

still sounds like a bonus either way to me..
