Addicts and vacations

Do you do it? If so how? Do you only drive places? Or are you willing to fly somewhere you know you can score?

I realize that this could be construed as mildly offensive and I apologize for that, I'm solely curious.
 
Actually I've considered flying somewhere that I *can't* score... more than once in my life, too, for sure.
 
whats a fun vacation with out some coke,pills, weed alcohol ... boring !! it would just be sight seeing ..fuck dude go to amsterdam thats were the partys at lol.. im not a 60 year old if i go on vacation i wanna party
oh and im not an addict ..its just seriously boring
 
I've always felt my addiction has kept me from being able to go on vacation. Or go anywhere for longer than the day really... I think about it a lot, it's one of the things that makes me want to quit even more.

This. Vacations are the PERFECT time to take a break. Sometimes when I fly back to New York to visit family, it's a nice feeling knowing I won't be able to get my hands on anything while I'm there. Granted I have a ton of friends there and could easily score anything, but the temptation is so much less to use when I'm staying at my mom's house with a schedule full of vacation to-do's and visits. No time for drugs!

Then when I get back home, that first bowl of chronic after a week or so without it.....GOD LIKE.
 
I am 'lucky' enough to be addicted to a substance that I am prescribed ('hmmmm'). So, I carry my DOC on any airplane w/ me, no hassle. I AM addicted (more psychologically than physically) to adderall - and do not have that prescribed to me (anymore) at the time. I won't say how or expand any more EXCEPT to say that I find a way to travel just fine with my opiates as well as adderall, and prescription bottles for my temazepam and clonazepam. :D

I DO have to make short trips, as I run out of oxy WAY early in the month (2 wks in).
 
I vacation quite often so when I was in active addiction (on bupe now), I would taper and then get through withdrawal before the trip. It's always good to clear your head and go out and enjoy things you rarely get to see when at home. I always take my benzos with me and stay kinda smacked out, but no opiates.
 
to be honest i didnt do much traveling when i was shooting. i was too preoccupied with the drugs i was doing and vacation didnt even sound like fun at the time.

when i traveled with my family, i didnt do drugs so it wasnt a problem. and the one vacation i went on with the fam when i was using, i found drugs there. it has a party scene so it was pretty easy.

i moved to the place i liked visiting the most, and i dont live at home with my fam any more, so i really have no interest in traveling right now. maybe to amsterdam at some point, but other then that not really right now.

if i were home id be doing alot more drugs. so im pretty happy here right now.
 
When I traveled to Greece when I was 18, I stayed 3 months, I stayed with my cousin & his wife. They always worked & I would go to the liquor store & stock up because alcohol was tolerated to be bought & drank by minors at the age of 16. When I was 18, I looked like I was 15 but I never got carded over there, it was awesome times, drunk all day & cruising Athens with my younger cousins, damn that was the party life!

I was at a pool hall & offered drugs but I was sketchy of the characters. There was a part of Athens that was like several blocks of drug users called the heroin district. Of course I never used heroin up to this day but if I ever wanted to score, I knew where to go. I was drinking everything including moonshine(home made) & never once did I get carded, haha.........travel to Europe if you like drinking & are under 21.
 
On a trip to guatemala 5 years ago, took a break from H. Thanks to klonopins, I withdrew pretty easy from slamming a gram a day until I found a dealer over there with some primo columbian uncut H. For like no prices a gram about no prices!!! Then I went to Tikal, Peten a Mayan archeological site, snorted a couple key shots on top of the 4th temple and nodden like my first shot. That was awesome!!! seeing the sunset and the jungle at the horizon high off my ass. Beautiful site ;)

Thankfully when i go on vacation to Cali i got friends over there and a couple of them deal so I can usually get anything i need, and the E over there is soooooo bomb compared to where i stay at. And taking a break from powder and smokin some BTH is cool its nice to switch it up.
 
I turned down a cruise vacation with my family in which my parents would have paid for...
I did this because I was worried about my heroin addiction anddidnt see myself stopping by then. Exactly 1 day after the time limit to sign up or whatever for it, I haaad to quit h and did so, sucks. I guesssss it was good that I quit though haha. No, it was.
