Addicted to opiates: An in-depth look at heroin in Denver Video

Really interesting, really sad.

You see these people every day, but you never know who buys food and a coat, to who puts it up their arms.
 
always sad to see the life....especially chicks for some reason. i guess because they are more vulnerable and a lot of them will turn to trickin to support their habit...crazy she can panhandle up to 100 a day, that could go pretty far. i would guess since its denver shes getting tar, 15 a hit isnt terrible. how much tar does that get yiou? like a point?
 
It was quite sad, but I feel like the only reason they made those videos/photos was because she is a reasonably attractive young woman. I don't see stories like this about filthy old men who live in similar conditions. However, we are all human beings, and it is no less sad for an old man to be homeless and addicted than a young woman.

I agree, especially since if she didn't have a drug problem, that $100 a day could easily afford her a hotel room, if not a legitimate apartment, as well as food, clothes, hygiene products etc...She could afford to help herself build a better life.

I don't use heroin so I'm not sure how much $15 gets you, but it's price discussion so a moot point.

in the video when she is under the bridge and mixes it up it is def powder and not only that it was in a wax bag n looked like white powder

everything we hear on BL is contrary to that, i was assuming it'd be tar as well but that was def powder she was pouring into the cooker n she didnt cook it up either she just stirred it, there is no way your gonna get away with not cooking tar

were not allowed to talk price but here in DFW 15 gets mor then .1 but i wont say specifically cuz i dont wanna get flagged for price discussion
 
Yes, it was probably powder, and being experienced in buying In Denver, There is both powder and tar. The powder Is usually dark brown to a light brown and of better quality. And I have never seen white powder here. But The mexicans and Hondurans run the Heroin business here, so most of it is probably from Mexico.
