I love stimulants and I have done all three of these but I could not tell which is better. What are the pros/cons of each and which are more easily obtainable?

only done vyvanse. i like it if i take enough. nice and smooth buzz and pretty euphoric and lasts quite awhile..but sometimes i hate that lol. sometimes im just ready for it to end. i think adderall on the streets is easiest to get but from a doctor, vyvanse

Yeah concerta gave me gut rot when I tried it and adderall was very good but it is hard to find where I live. So I think I'm gonna have to go with vyvanse because of the availability. Thanks for the imput

Concerta is just a strange med. It is a time-released formulation of methylphenidate, but it isn't like other time releases where you get half the dose immediately, and another half a few hours later. If I recall correctly, a portion of the methylphenidate is released immediately, and the rest is slowly released over quite a few hours. I could be wrong, but I know it has a weird time release system, and with methylphenidate I wouldn't want this to be. I can't speak much about amphetamines, but when I tried Concerta, I initially became "lifted", and seemed to be given extra energy to do what I needed, but as time went on I started feeling "not so good". There was euphoria, I guess, but it wasn't really a pleasant overall experience. I just remember feeling tired, but abnormally motivated. Bear in mind, I wasn't getting good sleep, or in good health when I had these experiences, but still. Funny thing is that if I were offered Concerta again I would still take it. I don't know why exactly, but it seems like something inside me says to take it. Who knows.

Yes if you suck the coating off Concerta it has three sections white yellow and green. The green is the extended release and I usually bite it off

For ADHD, Vyvanse, for recreation, sorry but if you have to ask you must be new to stimulants and I have to say, DO NOT go down that road.

Adderall by a long shot for me.

Although I don't take stimulants for euphoria. I find that Adderall makes me the most productive.

Addy for sure. Vyvanse is long and u have to take alot. Concerta idk... Ritilans fun but has its bad days. Adderal is always nice, clean and a great combination drug.

^^ wrong dexedrine= dextroamphetamine only, whereas adderall is mixed amphetamine salts of the l and d isomer.

i like focalin best, but you didnt list it. Dexedrine is next best.

AHH, motherfucking shrink can't give me the pure shit then.. :! I thought it was the same shit...

so that means vyvanse is close to dexedrine than adderall..

isn't focalin = concerta = ritalin = methylphenidate?

^^ no focalin is the stronger D isomer of methylphenidate just like dexedrine is the d isomer of amphetamine. Vyvanse is extended release dextroamphetamine. D-amp is more selective for dopamine and l-amp is more selective for norepinephrine.

focalin is dexmethylphenidate, most coke heads i kno prefer it to coke ;). Much more euphoric and cerebral with no jitters.

Strange that people seem to get such effects from focalin. I took about 5 or 6 years ago for my GED and it did absolutely nothing for me. I believe I ended up taking 2 or 3 tablets, but I cannot remember the milligram per tablet.

I literally felt nothing. No boost in concentration, no jaw clenching or jitters, just nothing. I was able to fall asleep within a couple of hours of taking it as well.

lol you needed a much higher dose then, shits like coke.

Could be the case. Although I would imagine I would have felt something.

I would say I have an average tolerance for stimulants. My first bump of coke got me high, 15mg of d-amphetamine (Adderall) taken intranasally typically makes me feel alright (although I prefer 30-45mg), but I can feel the effects at doses as low as 5mg.

I haven't taken methylphenidate for a while, but it worked fairly well for me.

Focalin is the only stimulant that I didn't receive an iota of an effect from. It was weird. Fortunately, the Florida GED didn't require too much of an attention span.
