Adderral tolerance?

^^^ LOL, yes after about two weeks of (somewhat) everyday use i had a full blown tolerance towards the end of the second week

Well, adderall = amphetamines...you do the research from there. Schedule II means tolerance, addiction, abuse, blah blah blah

I was perscribed to adderall for a year and a half and by three months in to it i had built up quite a tolerance. By the end of it i was taking upwards of 100mgs. so yes tolerance does happen but everyone is different.

I've been prescribed adderall for about a year, and while i'm supposed to take 15mg twice a day, i've varied that quite a bit. one week i took 90-120mg per dose 1-2 times a day for about five days, in contrast to my usual 45-60mg one day, two days off cycle i had maintained up to that point, and i found the effects weren't much better. there seemed to be a very large increase in physical side effects (hand tremor, sweating and jaw-clenching), and a stronger tendency to concentrate obsessively on unimportant things, but no increase in euphoria proportionate to the increase in dosage.
my tolerance seems to nearly fall to zero after about a week off, but returns to its usual level after 2-3 days of use.
interestingly, i've noticed that there seems to be an optimal dose range for using this stuff as a productivity enhancer. 45-60mg will let me work very efficiently, but 70mg and up almost invariably results in my spending 4-5 hours doing stupid shit like repeatedly reading out loud to myself emails i'm composing at the time.

yah, i fucken hate adderal tolerance....
I keep pretty good control over it by not taking over 40mg at once....I usually take 20mg twice a day, but if I'm not doing anything or going anywhere, I'll skip one or both doses to let the tolerance decrease and to save pills for later....I've been doing this for a while (years) and I don't notice the tolerance so bad, unless I have a bad/busy week and take 40mg per day all week..... this way, I have extras to give to friends when I don't have gas money, etc.... or for when I want to clean my room, I can take 2...

I'm gonna end up bein one of those old people that sue the drug companys for prescribing me addictive medication that turned me into a speed junkie....maybe that way, I'd win lots of money AND a lifetime supply of adderal....

One group I hope do get cracked down on is kids/adults who sell ADD meds. One of the most annoying little group of pricks on the planet.

ADD med dealers are providing a valuable service! When they have been misprescribed or overprescribed stimulants, they do the rest of us a service by selling them at reasonable prices. Plenty of kids have passed classes cause of those meds.... you'll see a lot of blue snot on some campuses come finals week.

Oh come on! Don't be such an asshole... it's the circle of life, those of us not lucky enough to have a script need to get it from somewhere, and if he can spare his pills then he might as well help others and himself...

I generally have fewer moral qualms supporting some kid who is getting ADD meds from a perscription than the large international criminal organizations which distribute street drugs (well the ones that aren't made locally). I tend not to like killing extortion etc.. etc..
