So I'm about to get Adderall XR 20mg. I was recommended IR, but this all I could get my hands on. What I was wondering was, if even though it's meant to be released periodically since the release is extended, if I snort it, then that wouldn't matter, would it? Also, here's a pic of what I'm getting, I know there's so many different pills and capsules of this, so if anyone could take a look and tell me if this would work well for the high, and also easy to cut because I'm not sure if there are balls in it. thanks a lot.

DON'T SNORT IT! The XR formulation is composed of little beads within the orange-brown capsule. The beads don't dissolve well in your nose, and they will be dripping down out your nose and down your face for the next couple days. I suppose you could crush the beads, but this is not an easy task, and I think i have heard (not certain) that they contain some sort of coagulating adulterant that makes them re-solidify in the nasal passages.

IMO amphetamine is pointless to snort, even if its non-XR. If you are desperate to abuse your pills crush them between spoons in a plastic bag and parachute the smashed beads. I have read that tums will extend the duration, however, high doses of XR usually keep me up all night anyways.
 
You can snort it if you want, you just need to get a pill crusher and thoroughly crush the oranges bee-bee's chopped down finely. then you can definitely put them up your nose.
 
you can snort it.. nothing is stopping you, and u will feel more of a rush snorting than taking it orally

you do need to find a way to break up ALL of those LITTLE TINY balls cuz like one of the previous posts stated, the little beads will just sit in ur nose or fall out.

get a surface (like the top of a tin) that has a "fencing" around it so when u crush the little balls nothing escapes
 
Half the balls are instant release and the other half are coated to release later. What I used to do was take this tray that had a small wall all around it, kind of like a giant petri dish. I would then dump all the balls out into the middle of the dish and then crush them by placing a quarter on top and pressing down on the quarter with the end of a hammer. It worked pretty well, once they were all crushed up I would chop it up with a razer blade and up the nose we go. Worked really well for me at least.
