Adderall XR and Wellbutrin

I've been taking Adderall XR for almost 3 years now for ADD-I @ 15-20mg/day. I have found that in addition to helping me pay attention, it also doubles as an anti-depressant. Unfortunately, I have been building a tolerance to this medication and usually run out a week or so early. My pdoc seems pretty reluctant to raise the dose, so I was wondering if adding Wellbutrin would help. I also take paxil which makes me groggy, but helps with anxiety.

i heard Wellbutrin and Adderall together is a very good combination and very effective as my girlfriend is on this combination. it may greatly increase anxiety if u have issues with that however

It could help. It works like a very weak amphetamine and has some synergistic effects with other amp's. E.g adderall

Remember it will take time, unlike amphetamines bupropion (wellbutrin) has a delayed onset.

now i hear being on wellbutrin, when u take amphetamines, like addrall or even MDMA, efects are diminished greatly

^it does for me. i have to wait 2 days before i get high on amphetamines after taking wellbutrin
