Ever since I started taking Adderall, I've had this really annoying side-effect. When I open my mouth to eat or whatever, my jaw will pop so loudly other people can hear it. I also grind my teeth at night. My dentist said all the enamel's gone. Does anyone else's jaw pop on adderall?

It's caused from jaw clenching, or "bruxism," a common side-effect of central nervous system stimulants. You've probably seen sweaty, figgity, speed freaks depicted clenching their jaws. Well, now that you've been prescribed speed that's you. Wearing a dental guard at night can reduce the wearing away of your teeth, but drugs or behavior therapy may be needed to get you to stop clenching your teeth as that's what's making your jaw pop. Reducing your dose will also help.
