Adderall & Xanax

I have 10 15mg adderalls and 10 2mg xanax. Would it be better to parachute the adderall and save the xanax for a little later or should i just take 2 15mg adderall and an hour later benzo?

What is your best experience with the two?

You could use a tiny dose of the xanax to negate some of the negative effects of adderall(jitteryness, etc.) but at 15mg I doubt you would need it. I would not recommend taking them together in high doses because you could just black out and find out the next day all the stupid shit you did. Generally overall its better to use the adderall then use the xanax for the comedown, especially when its difficult to sleep. Also if you get sleep and some food the adderall comedown shouldn't be bad at all or maybe existant.

i have a tolerance to both, so i'd take 20mg adderall+1mg xanax just to chill.. then maybe another xanax later on.. it just depends

ps- i've never heard of 15mg adderall pills. are they XR? that's interesting. i've only heard of 5s, 10s, 20s, and 30s IR.. i'm on the 30mg IR

No DOUBT does it depend on tolerance. Yesterday I took 75 mg adderall ( I do not take stims much at all-maybe a few times a month) w/o much discomfort. I felt great, rather.

What I'm trying to say: Start with 30mg. From what I gather from friends this is a base dose, enough to feel it but not to be uncomfortable. If you're especially sensitive to stimulants you may experience a headache as effects fade (etc), but really at such a low dose you shouldn't be too bad off. If you find yourself not able to sleep just take 1mg xanax, a gentle amount but enough to smooth things out (assuming no benzo tolerance).

My bad i have the pills that say amphet salt 20mg is that the same as adderall and i dont know if it is xr

Yeah that's adderall. And you can go on google and type the pill in to see if its XR. However from what I've seen XR's are only capsules with beads in them. Pills are IR's.

I honestly love this combo. with no tolerance to xanax and at the time a moderate tolerance to amphet id recommend

.5 mg xanax (takes the edge off without being overbearing) and then like 40-60mg of addy.
now days tho that addy would bel ike painfully so much more.


edit : to start off the night, once i feel xanax wearing off ill take a bit more then save approx .5-1mg for sleep after. I cant EVER sleep AT ALL from amphet even like 10+ hours after no even being HIGH anymore yet just a tiny bit of xanax puts me out instantly. its a combo made in heaven plus its so much safer than say alcohol and addy to get kinda similar effects but with the latter you end up feelin like shit and your body takes an ass kickin

Doctors seem to always prescribe Klonopin if they're gonna use benzos as an adjunct to stimulant therapy given its longer term effects. Xanax is just too inconvenient in my opinion given its duration. Following a schedule of redosing all the time sounds like a pain in the ass.

Not enough information regarding dosages though.

I've been prescribed both Xanax and Klonopin (not at the same time) with Adderall/Desoxyn/Dexedrine/Ritalin etc. for the last ten years. When I was younger I'd take a small dose of Xanax or Klonopin with a higher than prescribed dose of Adderall to counteract the negative side effects. The small dose of benzodiazepine wouldn't decrease the effects of the Adderall.

I find taking 0.5 of xanax or klonopin takes the edge off, and keep you at a nice buzz, with a great amount of energy, but not as hyped up, and more laid back. Its an honestly great, great buzz.

Then id save about 1.5 of xanax for sleep and about 2.5 klonopin to sleep and wake up feeling refreshed
