I'm not too clear on Focalin's mechanism of action. Adderall of course downregulates dopamine receptors, but how does focalin work? The reason I ask is that I experienced a state just a month ago where I upregulated my DA receptors to a point that I have never felt in my life. I did this through exercise, not masturbating, and diet, along with what I believe was social dominance. For full story see http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/...-the-answer-to-treatment-resistant-depression

During this state I know for sure I was taking 150mg of wellbutrin but I'm not quite sure on what stimulant I was using. I'm on day 50 of nofap but I haven't experienced this again. I'm still suffering from depression and anhedonia.

Focalin is a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor.

It is a isomer of ritalin. works exactly the same way as ritalin does (think of it as a purer version of ritalin... not techincally true but close enough if you dont know organic chem).

It is not neurotoxic. Some studies show methylphenidate to be neuroprotective.

If you do a quick google search or even just check out wikipedia you could have gotten this information. More indepth info go to pubmed.
