Stimulants Adderall vs Dexedrine (personal experience)

Hello everyone,

I just signed up because i thought id give everyone here what i could not find while searching the past couple days (even though the title seems the same). I have recently been switched from Adderall XR to Dexedrine IR and wanted to say a few things, also im a Biology major as well as a fitness geek and personal trainer.

The difference was almost instant. I can say that without a doubt Dexedrine is cleaner and better feeling right off the bat. I did not experience any of the shakyness you get w large doses of Addy (or on empty stomach) just a nice slow-er buzz that built up into a beautiful euphoric feeling. Im actually at my college writing you this and i can also say it seems to make it easier to study and focus due to that "cleaner" side. All around this is a much better drug than Addy. I have read mixed reviews from this site and others and wanted to do my best to clear the air. i know the 75%d-amp and 25%l-amp discussion as well and how some ppl say the l-amp makes them more awake, well i was in my car blasting electro music at 730AM this morn and that NEVER happens so id say that is false. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and ill do my best. im exp in addy some m-amp cocaine and many other downs. peace and stay say friends.

I've found dexedrine prouduces a cleaner high....not so jittery.

op, i agree dex is definitely smoother w/ less side effects. something about the shaky, teeth-grinding addy feeling really gets me motivated to accomplish things the first day i take it though. then i progressively feel worse every consecutive day i keep taking it. dex prob would be easier to take daily, maybe i'll see about switching for a month

That's just not how chemistry works. A rudimentary reaction with a base would be enantiomer-nonspecific: it will not select for a particular stereo-isomer and extract it, nor will it react one isomer to another. However, if the pH conditions are sufficiently extreme, what you propose should readily destroy your amphetamine.

I took both orally (never in any other ROA) in low doses as prescribed usually 5-10mg, but at very rare times 15mg. They were both the same to me, and produced the same effects in me when I'd take them. I remember at times falling asleep on them a few times while on them; but that can happen if you have ADD/ADHD. I have never taken crystal meth but I know people who have and they told me how even very high doses of both Adderall and Dexedrine do not compare to meth.

I haven't tried Dexedrine, but after getting that euphoric high from adderall more than plenty of times, I've experienced THE WORST comedown from my adderall highs. Perhaps I've done it too much, but when I crash from it, I literally become so extremely depressed that I actually have suicidal thoughts. Anyone know of any supplements or anything I can take as I'm coming down to help ease my SEVERE depression?? Any advice would be awesome. Thanks

Do you know how much you are taking? What's the ROA? That has never happened to me but it has happened to people I know who would take very large doses and binge on speed.

Dextroamphetamine over DL-Amphetamine. I am RX 165mg of d-dl-amphetamine a day.. I much prefer the pure dextroamphetamine, much smooth. AFter redosing you don't feel nearly as awful as if you had ingested a lot of L-amphetamine in Adderall. I take the adderall to keep me alert and awake when I need a jolt and I use the pure dextroamphetamine for my ADHD.

I've tried Adderall and Crystal countless times, Dexedrine once. I'd say Crystal is the most euphoric and compulsive, Adderall more energizing and motivating and Dexedrine a slightly cleaner version of Adderall.
