Hey everyone,
i was just wondering if anyone would be able to explain to me how the body forms a tolerance to amphetamines(specifically adderall).
It is my understanding that the NMDA receptor is there area where the tolerance forms, i also understand that it has something todo with the flow of Ca2+ through an active NMDA receptor. Though I'm not sure why this Ca2+ transfer has any baring on tolerance, i would also like to know how a NMDA antagonist blocks this flow.
If you can answer any of my questions or even just share your knowledge, it would be much appreciated
