Adderall tolerance and euphoria

The Story: So I take adderall for ADD but want to get back my euphoria so some degree. I usually take my required amount of ADD and only feel good for 2 hours max as of the past 3 days. This is after a 2 and a half month break while taking magnesium and a multivitamin everyday and the euphoria is at the same level if not alittle worse. I take 20mg but have experimented with 30mg before without much success (no negative effects other than anxiety from paranoia from ODing lol-until it kicked in and calmed me down :D)

The Question: Will I get back the euphoria much like an opiate if I just take more? I have tried an extra 10mg but without any success. Will the energy and other side effects outweigh the possible euphoria I'd experience? or would I just tweak myself out and be screwed?

Do some people just naturally become jaded to amphetamines? Does this happen to any other drugs?

Thank you for any help and I apologize if I did not find this answer throughout my search on other threads.

Will I get back the euphoria much like an opiate if I just take more?

Yes.

I don't see why not. I can take up to 60mg of adderall now and get little to no euphoria as a result of tolerance.

If I double the dose, however, I still get strong euphoria, reminiscent of my first days with the drug.

Will the energy and other side effects outweigh the possible euphoria I'd experience? or would I just tweak myself out and be screwed?

You would tweak, but isnt that the point..?

I'm not sure what exactly you trying to avoid. You can expect greater amounts of energy with an increased dose of adderall. You also can excpect a subjectivley worse consequent comedown because of the higher dosage. The duration of the tweak shouldnt be any longer than smaller doses if you take it all at once, in case your concern was sleep problems or something like that.

As a final note, 30mg isn't close to enough to OD on, you can go well above the 100-200 mg range and be fine, though i wouldnt reccomend it to newer adderall users

I had this same problem. At first 10mg worked fine. Then only a few months later I thought my brain was broken because I could take 60mg and nothing would happen, literally nothing, maybe just a fuzzy gentle comeup for less then 15 minutes and then it was gone, I could take 60 and go right to bed, sound asleep. I got so pissed I took I took 90 and I was hit again. 90mg however, is too high of a dose to continue on for long. So yeah I agree you can get your groove back by upping the dose just like with any addictive drug. Which is a double edged sword. I read that there have been cases where people have developed tolerance up to taking 1000mg in one shot. Which now after having experienced a rocketing tolerance in no time at all, I can actually believe.

Yes, the euphoria will come back at higher doses. That's why people with serious drug habits do such high doses. If it simply quit working no one would develop a drug problem.

You would tweak, but isnt that the point..?
Not quite. I love the increased energy and control I had when I felt the great euphoria. I want to be able to carry on a normal day, not feel too tweaked. For example, being able to go to work feeling amazing with a safe dose where I'm not anything but happy, calm, outgoing, and ADD begone.

I've never experienced a real come down on any drug and if I have, it's nothing I even notice. The only comedown effect I get from adderall is feeling tired after it wears off if I haven't had anything to eat and overworked myself (with or without any drug).

To refine my question, will the tolerance to euphoric effects outweigh the tolerance to the bad and unwanted side effects? I realize it's probably different for everyone, but an idea would help.
