Adderall scrip stopped

I went to my doctor this week.He wasn't seeing patients,due to a snow day,he was just having his secretary give out scrips.When I checked mine,i noticed my Adderall scrip was missing.The secretary said he wasn't prescribing it anymore,which had myself and a few other patients upset.
I know of two friends that had their Adderall scrips changed to Ritalin (with other doctors).Does anyone know if something is happening all over with this drug or just coincidence with my friends and I?

I have no idea, but I'd guess it's just your doctor, maybe he was having problems with some patients who were abusing their scripts and decided not to prescribe it anymore. I've heard of Doctors doing that with certain drugs of abuse before.

I'm sure you can still get your Adderall if you need it from a different doctor or from the same one after you talk to him.

Personally I could be on Adderall but I chose Ritalin because it's not as fun and it works for me. It's too easy for me to just burn through an Adderall script in one or two weeks.

It's your doctor. If he refuses to put you back on Adderall and you really need to be on it, then find another doctor. That's odd that he's changing your script without speaking to you about it first. It may have only been temporary (snow day), however.
