Ok, well i have been prescribed adderall 10mg ir for about 4-5 months now. My dose was orignally 10mg 3 times a day. Now its 30mg in the morning and 10mg at 11:45. And i have to say it really helps in school. I can focous 10x more then when i didn't take it.

The problems im having is that when the morning dose starts to wear off i start to get very aggressive, and agitated. And i hate it. My gf and i fight in only one class over the stupidst shit and its always when my morning dose starts to fade. As soon as i take my next 10mg im good for the day. I would like to know what can i do to prevent this from happening, if anything.

Another thing is that i know i am physically and mentally addicted to it also. if i happen not to take my dose at all, i get sooo agitated i wana kill someone. My moodswings are out the roof, and i just feel like nothings in the right place. I feel like everything is bothering me,(my books always in the wrong spot, pen just doesn't feel right etc.) I would like to know if i was to stop adderall, what would be the long term effects of withdraws and how long would they last?

My last question is something i have been wondering for quite some time. I take adderall everyday, and if i use it recreationally i can take 90-100mg easily and get an ok speed for a couple hours but not good enough. I would like to know for my situation what would be a good recreational dose for me to get a great speed goin on? And what do you think the max dose i can take before i get to the danger zone?

Thanks in advanced everyone, hope i gave enough info to answer my questions.

This is why I switched to Dexedrine. My body hates the Lamp. Or my brain does. It makes me annoyed easy and quick.

I agree with the above poster. Adderall made me really on edge and i got horrible headaches. dexedrine feels less jittery and overall is just a way better medication

I know what your talking about. You feel edgy after the first dose wears off. I believe its just side effects. There nothing you can really do about it. You can switch to Dexedrine if you want to.

As for the withdrawals, they generally go away about 5 days after you stop. It may affect us with ADD a little worse because we have to get adjusted to our symptoms again without the medication. Sometimes I will go on 5-7 day vacations so that the effects of Adderall go back to how they were when I first started it.
