I'm new on BL just signed up. I've been using heroine for about 2 years. The first year was maybe once a month. Second year, there hasnt been any more than 7 days gone by consecutively that I haven't used. I've been on 40mgs of adderall RX since I was 20. Now I am 27 years old. I've taken adderall almost daily the past 7 years. I use and rely heavily on adderall's effects every time I quit doing heroine. Every time I quit, I do so completely cold turkey. Sure, I take a xanax or two at night to induce sleep if their available. If my stomach feels weird and diarrhea is becoming a mild issue, then sure I will take a large amount of immodium. But mainly I just use the adderall during withdrawals. During withdrawal I up my dose from 40mgs depending on the severity of the withdrawal sometimes up to 70mg or even 80mg for each day that I'm sick. This alleviates alot of the symptoms and gives me the strength to goto the gym, goto work, and get things done.
In case you are curious what my habit was like, well I moved from NJ to Chicago in December (2014). Sorry Chicagoans, but your dope is overpriced and not even comparable to the "stamps" or "bundles" of stamps found on the East Coast that contain "china white" powder heroine. My habit in NJ was $25 a day (5 stamps a day) but up to $50 (10 stamps; or one bundle a day). My Chicago habit was anywhere from 2 to 4 $20.00 bags (or "dubs") in a day. I have always been an intranasal heroine user. I have never IVed or "banged" heroine; much as I would like to I realize my withdrawals would be 100 times worse.
So here's my question. I know that heroine withdrawal is dependent upon the user's metabolism as far as how fast he or she gets all the heroine out of his/her body. I'm currently in 48 hours of withdrawal as I write this. I would like to really stop this time. 1 year is enough for me. If adderall drastically increases one's metabolism, would adderall speed up the duration of the entire withdrawal process? Withdrawal for me is always 4 days then its over. Minus ofcourse, the mental lingering effects which as I said I havent gone for more than 7 days in the past year without using. I already know everything to expect from withdrawal, was just curious if I am speeding up the process by using adderall. At the moment I don't really feel like doing much or leaving my house so I figured I would ask this question on here.
