I do not understand this drug, I am prescribed 20mg XR. I only take it as needed for big projects or presentations. What I don't understand is if this increases norepinephrine and dopamine why is it that it calms all my anxiety and makes me an excellent presenter? I would think it would make me a jittery mess. I can focus, communicate my ideas and thoughts extremely efficiently and literally have no anxiety from it. It almost works like xanax minus the zombie effects of xanax. What's the science behind it? Is it because of the surge in dopamine that covers up the norepinephrine negatives
 
I'm in pharmacy school and it works in a very similar way that Cocaine will work on your brain....if not even stronger. It works on your dopamine pathway mainly and will cause you to have a reward when you are studying so it pushes you to work hard and you may feel like superman (:
