I've taken adderall steady every day for about a year. I no longer have any pills and am facing my inevitable comedown as i type. I was wondering some basic stuff..

How long until my body eliminates all of the adderall?

When does the body begin to make it's own 'normal' energy?

Does your adrenal gland suffer long term damage from that kind of habitual use?

Help with this horrible comedown? =[

Can't help you there...I've actually never done adderall...I've done vyvanse once...and I've done phentermine a few times...actually on one now...but other than that...I've quit methamphetamines a few times...

The first time was the worst...had normal shitty comedown, sleep, woke up, ate and ate, and ate. Three days after last bowl of ice...bam detox...was in bed 103 degree fever, felt like i was getting kicked in the gut repeatedly, one of the worst splitting migraines you can imagine, didn't eat, drank sips of water in between seroquel and diphenhydramine doses to keep me asleep, and MIGHT have gone to pee once or twice every 24 hours...didn't leave bed for 3 days...

Woke up being 21 lbs lighter, lost my job at starbucks, and felt like hammered dog shit...

yours might not be as bad though...I was doing quite a bit of meth so......

ah that fuckin sucks im sorry :(
Amphetamines leave the system fairly quickly, around 3-5 days tops.

energy-wise its really down to you. if you're eating junk-food and being unhealthy it could never return,
eat healthy, make sure you're getting enough sleep and you should see an improvement within A few days.

every day for a year?
your adrenal gland is deffinitley hurtin, i'd look up AdrenalFatigue and see what things i could do to help improve/recover if i were you. the body is amazing at repairing itself given the right nutrients/sleep.

comedown- take some benzo's if you've got any.
smoke some weed if you've got some.
just take it easy, relax. watch some funny TV, blog, just something relaxing.
stress is the enemy:\ just tough it out.
what works best for me is just reminding myself that it will pass.

some supplements i'd look into.
VitaminC- overall health, helps promote amphetamine excretion
FishOil- brain, heart, general body health, soo many benefits
L-Tyrosine- dopamine/epinephrine precursor, deffinitley gonna help with your energy if u get quality product.
and maybe a protein shake.
best of luck to you dude!:) (unless your a girl? :D)

im a chronic user of amphetamines (adderall, Dexedrine) have been on and off for 11 years. when i first started taking them i was sky high literally for 12 hours, followed by insomnia for 2 days, great euphoria, as time passed, euphoria, tolerance, the duration i get is maybe 4 hours if im lucky followed by a nasty crash, i also lost the magic it provided during the honeymood stage when first experiencing them. i take them frequently now as i get a 3 month supply at a time and my girlfriend does, i have to say with pride i dont dose over 60mg...mainly i use them 2 weeks str8, every month and a half, usually binging. Comedowncrash cures: if you have access-Benzos/also and not the safest but opiates could help, FOOD, WATER!!! sleep is most Definetly important, along with vitamins. sex, masterbation does wonders on diminshing the crash
