Kim took a 30mg Adderall at 8am and wants to take the other 30mg right now (12:30). Would that be ok? Kim is used to taking 60 mg a day she just usually takes 1 whole 30 at 8 and splits the other one between 1-5. That's not helping her anymore so she wants to take the whole 30 instead of breaking it in half and spacing it out. :?

Sorry. Kim's just really paranoid when it comes to meds. She didn't wanna over due it but she wanted to be able to feel the meds again and since spacing out the second dose of 30 wasn't doing it anymore. She wanted to take the whole 30 at once and see how that does. :)

60mg is a relatively low dose. Amphetamine tolerance develops fairly quickly, you wouldn't be taking much of a risk until you get into the 300mg+ range. Even then you wouldn't die it would just be incredibly uncomfortable.

That's good to know. Kim took the whole 30mg :) and is fine minus the minor chest pain that Kim hopes is normal lol :)

In my opinion, I would recommend taking your second 30mg dose right after a big meal (a proper lunch). That way, it will act as a continuous sustained release med, which is quite different than the bimodal release such as Adderall XR.

Either way, I would recommend cutting out ALL caffeine and cigarette usage at 60mg/day (e-cigs w/ nicotine is alright), as that is the FDA approved maximum for adults. The chest pain (angina) is quite serious, and is your cardiovascular system's way of telling you that you are taking too much Adderall at once. I can't condone using Adderall after having chest pains, but if you must take them, take 15mg sublingually and 15mg orally after a wholesome, proper breakfast, then take the other 30mg orally after a wholesome lunch.

Okay thanks and I don't think the chest pain was caused by the adderall. I hadn't eaten much that day and I had drank quite a few mountain dews. I have been taking 60 mg a day for a while and never had a problem with chest pain before. Today I took my regular dose of 30mg this morning around 8 and will eat lunch shortly then take the other 30 around 2 I'm also drinking nothing but water and smoking very little. If I have the chest pain again today then I will decrease the dosage a bit. :)
