I read somewhere:
Tricyclic antidepressants like Amitriptyline re-uptake available dopamine so this should make Adderall stronger. Also the antidepressant Wellbutrin (Bupropion HCL) uptakes dopamine and should potentiate Adderall.

Is this true? I have some Wellbutrin on hand, but I haven't taken it before so it hasn't built up in my system. Whats the word??
Thanks in advance :)
EDIT: In researching I've found that this combination does potentiate the Adderall, but also increases the risk of having a seizure. Would taking Gabapentin, an anti-convulsant, lessen the risk of seizure or am I overlooking something?
I went ahead and took one 300mg bupropion tablet and am staggering Gabapentin, 300 mg every 45 minutes. A small dose of Bupropion wont hurt, especially saying as I have the Gabapentin.... right?

Yeah, I would like this info as well. Started thinking about it while I was looking up info on migraine medications. Something about serotonin syndrome stood out for a reason that I can't quite recall.

I take both of these regularly, though. So I doubt there's anything too awful going on, since I don't get migraines very often anymore.

Just take urinary alkalizing agents such as sodium bicarbonate. This will prolong your amphetamine high. I wouldn't recommend mixing bupropion with amphetamines, or any other drugs for that matter. Just take them by themselves. Take some Zantac and some tums before you take the pills and you should have a slightly prolonged high.
