I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing I have: I was diagnosed with ADHD about a year ago, and I took ritalin at first for a few months. But now I've been taking Adderall for a good 8 months now.
Lately, (beginning this past month) instead of making me all perky and stuff (my ADHD is really mild, I think..but probably exacerbated by e use and ritalin/adderall use), adderall is making me tired! Or, my body is so tired but my mind is wired, so I can't really do anything. Adderall is making me less productive than I usually am, which is so weird since it used to be so great.
I'm taking about 30mg a day, and I'm getting like 7-8 hours of sleep each night so I don't think I'm sleep-deprived and just exhausted...I feel like throughout the day, I can feel the adderall wearing off and when I take another one, it's like I feel like one wearing off and another coming on at the same time, which makes me want to lay down and goto bed. Hmm..
I've heard of people losing the beneficial effects of adderall after a while, but 8 months seems so soon..what do you guys think?
