Opioids Adderall AFTER tramadol

How long should I wait to take adderall after I take tramadol to avoid any negative interactions. I took 200mg last night around midnight and another 100 mg this morning around 9am. was planning on doing 40-60 mg of adderall when the effects of the tramadol wear off which they presently are.
 
Nah man tramadol reduces seizure thresholds and has SNRI activity. Adderall and tramadol can be a potentially dangerous combo even at low doses
 
Dude your an asshole u didnt read my whole thing and started making assumptions. What do u mean tramadol is peed out 3x faster than adderall theirs no science behind that. It has nothing to do with how fast you pee it out but more how fast your body metabolizes it. If anything adderall is peed out faster because it stimulates metabolism while tramadol slows everything down. Anybody who is not pulling facts out of their ass can please help me with my question?

Why did you even ask the question if you already had an answer? And Ksa I believe he took 300 mg of tramadol (at least I hope so). Btw your answer is correct that by taking adderall too soon you have an even greater risk to have a seizure so I would wait 24 hrs to be safe. The tramadol's affect on serotonin will be long gone by then.

No Ultiman, adderall definitely has a longer half-life and duration of affects. I don't know if it stays in your urine longer but I know for a fact it is a longer acting drug.
 
I just wanted to know a timeframe. The question was not if it was a bad combo, I knew that, It was how long should I wait till I can dose on adderall. Thanks for your answer
 
actually adderall has an average half life about 3 hours longer than tramadol but a majority of tramadols effects are caused by its metabolite which doesnt kick in for about 3 hours. Ive noticed that tramadol is one of the longest acting opiates because of this. Its almost like two different drugs at first speedy than very sedating and it lasts a long time. The metabolite O-desmethyltramadol has an even longer half life than tramadol so overall u could say that tramadol and adderall have about the same duration of effects
 
Yea I think your right. I have taken tramadol a couple times and it did seem to last a long time. It always made me so paranoid that I'm going to have a seizure though because it is one of the most notorious drugs that induce seizures. IMO tramadol is a shitty drug with shitty side effects unless you have no opiate tolerance. I hate the feeling I get from its SRA activity.
 
I've taken amphet the next morning after doing trams many times with no negative reactions. A 12 hour gap should be plenty. NEVER take the 2 Together though, or it'll be seizure city.
 
Taking adderall before most/all of the tramadol is out of you body can cause seizures. It happened to me. They weren't full on tonic clonic seizures, but they were disabling and continued for months after i stopped taking the tramadol. I was only taking 50mg of ultram once or twice a day (prescribed for an injury to my ribs and the resulting pleurisy), and 20 or 25 mg of adderall twice daily prescribed for adhd.
