I’ve been prescribed zopiclone for close on 20 years. I used to get 4 7.5mg pills a night.
Along with 60mg temazepam and 6mg Xanax a day.

Im now down to 11.25mg zopiclone
15mg diazepam and 0.4mg clonidine a night for sleep.

I’ve been at this amount for close on 3-4 years now.

I don’t crash like I used to.. but it’s far healthier and I am able to get sleep. I feel that’s mostly due to the clonidine though.

I’m 100% addicted to zopiclone and I can tell lol

Oh wow the combination there with temazepam and zopiclone is a hefty combo for insomnia treatment tamezepam itself in the diazapine tier list sits pretty damn high for its sedative effects ive tried it a few times but I dont remember seeing any value in it outside of just going right to sleep and never took it during the day

Not sure when you had that set of prescriptions but even the 6mg of Xanax these days is pretty high for a dr to prescribe

My brother is and has been on disability for years now for some mental health stuff including insomnia and hes only been given 2mg daily xanax and he said his new dr basically recoiled when she saw that

Benzos really do have a morbid risk for dependency and addiction and tbh they are just really powerful as far as how much of an effect they produce

I had always used drugs through out my life but I had never experienced addiction until I tried .25mg xanax one time on one totally random otherwise unremarkable night

I didnt even really knkw what xanax was and i was like ~24 at the time and within a few months I had navigated my way into online markets and was recieving benzos by the thousands from overseas mostly etizolam and taking 10-20mg per dosing

And even now 7 years later although atleast with more responsible use here they remain in great quantity

Right feel the same way about benzos for the right person they can provide almost an incomparable, nearly instant, and reliable space of comfort and accessibility to your life

and man you really just learn a lot navigating through your addiction especially if its the first time you find yourself in that bubble

the thing about addiction I learned in those beginning years that really hit me one day and this may not be everyone but for me realizing that you dont even know youre trapped in addiction until you're already trapped

And i think that's something people who have never had substance abuse struggles dont understand people dont usually willingly choose to enslave themselves and the person who finds themselves with a chemical ball and chain around their ankles end up being the most confused about where it came from when they turn around and finally see it

As time and experience comes its something you become acutely aware of and can become vigilant to the early signs but after youve carried that weight around once youve built some strength and then you can find yourself kneeling down to put the shackles back on without hesitation

Rambling aside yeah benzo use has been floating around non dependent and low dosage when i do use them and i have an amount that that my usage isnt based in rationing although I think ive been pushing that line a bit recently so I do have in mind to step back while im in a position that I can safely cold turkey for a while

Well as every ones different, and i only 2 times experienced Zopiclone.
A effective knock out 7.5 mg equal to about 0.5 Alprazolam.
And Zolpidem too me seemed the better re-creative of the two.
Seemed better then a Benzo, except Temazepam, to me.

Knowing two Benzo s exist that are less recreational as these Z-drug s.
Clobazam and to somewhat less degree Pyrazolam.
