Adderall (20mg) - First Time - Disappointed

Today I got my hands on a couple of 20mg IR adderalls and tried one for the first time. (snorted)

I am aware that snorting has less effect as suppose to orally taking them but I was extremely disappointed by the effects I've gotten out of it so far.

Time taken: 4:00 pm

0:00 - Split pill in half, crushed, snort

0:30 - Slight euphoria/body jitters

1:00 - Felt like I was coming down so I snorted the other 10mg

1:30 - Only an increase effect of euphoria/body jitter

2:00 - Basically worn off

it's about 6:30pm right now and the effects have pretty much disappeared

is there something wrong with me? or does snorting GREATLY diminish the effects of adderall?

a little background info:
-smoke pot rarely
-smoked jwh-018 almost daily for close to 6 months (recently off of)
-have tried various other drugs way back then not worth getting much into now

i'm thinking about dosing again orally but it seems too late in the evening now
 
You didn't take enough. A medium-high dose is anywhere from 90 to 120mg, but you'll have to forget about sleep for a while.
 
first time taking addies i thought 20mg in a span of an hour would be more than enough

would 20mg oral be enough to feel the full effects or should i try taking more tomorrow?

i hate wasting drugs :p
 
bullllllllshit... snorting 20 at once is great

then keep your high going by snorting another 20 2 hours later. have you snorted anything before? you may not have done it right. or if you let it drip - waste

i fucking LOVED to snort my adderall. i would kill my 30 day prescrip w/ my BF in a day by snorting that shit. so fucking fun. AH MEMORIES!

what kinda instants did you get? are they pink? the pink ones fucked me up (pretty sure they're barr brand, only way to know is on the bottle)
but yeah the pink ones made me tweak outta my mind wasnt good..
 
I've not ever done this before - I'd be interested in what you find as an optimum dose seeing as you've not done it before also.

they're orange with what looks like an 'E' and the number 401 on the bottom
other side is imprinted with a plus sign

i haven't taken anything beforehand nor have i eaten prior to taking it if that makes any difference

i have done coke but that was ages ago

i don't know what you mean by if i snorted it right
just stuck a rolled up dollar bill up my nose and railed it

Usually for new drug experiences, if one fails, I (roughly) calculate based on the half-life how long it'll be completely free from my system before I try again. Especially with opiates and some of the harder substances because that little tolerance can cause your dose-up to be not enough.
 
20mg is a common initial dose for treating ADHD.

You are not missing much, anyway.
 
To really get feel the effects you should go up to atleast 40mg. 60 or 80 are both great to with zero tolerance.

Although not everyone likes adderall compared to crys or pure d-amp sources but it is still nice. Just more physically stimulating.

those r generics. it's better to do on a full stomach for it to work properly, but i find that for a better speedy effect and high i would take it on an empty stomach

i would still snort it today. by snorting properly i mean all the way in your naval cavity. around any girls? i used to the end piece of a tampon. you need to push it up far enough and at the right angle, then let it burn not drip or it's a waste
 
Just my experience

I took one 10mg orally and flew like an eagle all day. Second day tried three, little buzz, not much else. Since then, went through 30 of them in about five days, and pretty much wasted them all. Waited about 1.5 days and crushed and ate seven of them....barely have a buzz. Never tried them before, had some long term vicoprofen use, but not for about three years. I loved the first day, the rest were ok....its me though, metabolism sucks. :(

I do believe I didn't do enough...but after all I read, I was a little bit apprehensive. Regret that! :)
 
speed on the whole is a functional drug and if you take it all the time you become unable to function well without it. plus the high is crap unless you take loads.

i used to love it years ago, but it chewed me up and spat me out
