Hello hello! (Apologies in advance for this being "lengthy" as I wanted to explain the situation as thoroughly as possible!) :)

My friend is on day 8 of an Adderall "binge." Total, he has had 1000mg (100, 10mg, script) - So, roughly 100mg/ day with a little more on a couple of the days.

He has been eating the entire time, healthy foods/fruits/veggies/meats/etc, as well drinking a fully loaded protein shake every evening with 1200mg Tyrosine and 800mg Lysine, among MANY other good supplements. He has also taken 5-HTP several times (at night time to help promote sleep, which He says he HAS been doing as well due to the HTP, melatonin and ZzzQuil.) In addition to ashwaghanda extract & 1500mg vitamin C every evening.

In the mornings, He eats a banana, some yogurt, and on a few days, some honey bunches of oats with almonds as well. He told me he also takes 1000mg magnesium and some Lecithin Concentrate with his breakfast. After he takes a shower/brushes teeth/etc, he continues with his adderall approx an hour so later.

He stresses that he has an amphetamine tolerance, and was diagnosed with ADHD as well as mild narcolepsy. Nonetheless, I've been reading a vast amount of threads as well as done external research to help him out if need be, regarding "cushioning the comedown" and any "withdraw" symptoms he MAY experience after a binge. (He also insisted this is his second large binge in several years; it is not a regular thing.) Thus, why he's been so concious about healthy eating and drinking A LOT of water, in additional to making sure he's getting sleep throughout; I can vouch that he's currently on vacation (which may explain his decision to binge), therefore, he can sleep any time of day or night that he feels his body needs to with no work obligations, as well as several hours at nights.

A little about him: He's a very happy, up beat person w/o Adderall, (I've known him since grade school) although without the Adderall he does tend to have issues staying on track with things and keeping his priorities straight. I have also witnessed many a time that he's randomly dozed off unannounced, as well as overall being VERY tired many days, even says he's gotten what you and I might consider "a good nights sleep." (As mentioned above - Narcalepsy)

He has no history or previous issue with depression, nor that I'm aware of im his immediate family. He very athletic w/ high cardiovascular stamina, and he said he takes supplements for CVS & CNS as well simply bc he's taken Adderall for many years (at correct dose) yet still, to "prevent" possible damage.

SO -
I am writing a post bc I really would just like to know if there's anything he MIGHT be missing as far as to put ease to the next few days for him? He's a pretty smart kid, (aside from him decision to binge occasionally smh) so I assume he's taking all the necessary steps to ease the next few days.

I will be with him as well, any advice or warning signs for me as a friend would be greatly appreciated!

Lastly - NO other drugs like benzos, opiates, alcohol, weed, etc please. He doesn't do any of those, nor do I think he needs them considering the way he's been taking care of himself with natural supplements/water/food throughout.

ALL SUPPLEMENTAL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME AND THANK YOU IM ADVANCE!

No matter the supplementation he will notice negative effects of a binge comedown. One thing that has helped me combat all aspects of adderall use/ abuse is positive mind set. Mind over matter.

Also research brain wave tones. Certain frequencies of audio stimulation can allow you to tap into your mind and actually change it's processes and avoid negative reinforcement from the brains astoundingly astute and provocatively reactive equilibrium.

Try This: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L2M7Its9C4&list=PL4CA115A4248C59D3

OR, Better yet this: Music for when you're on Adderall

Kick the tyrosine, it's by no means healthy to take with amphetamine

AGREED! Too Much L-Tyrosine during AMPH (^cAMP) can cause drastic negative side effects. Use it to supplement regeneration.
