Hey All-
New to the forums (longtime secret reader). I'll be re-registering with a vastly more anonymous name, not because I want to ask anything super illicit, but it dawned on me that I didn't want a drug forum popping up if you googled my last name. But that's neither here nor there. I recently went to the hospital for a Staph infection and was prescribed Vicodin for the pain. I took them all in a near constant-dose because, well, I was in a lot of pain. The pain has since all but subsided so it came as some surprise when he prescribed me another 20 pills for the pain. These are Vicodin ES (750/7.5MG)'s. My thinking is as follows. It occurred to me that since I have no use for them now I could put them aside for a disaster preparedness kit - I thought I'd put ten aside as orals and then reduce the other ones to syringes for instant use should I require an immediate pain relief.
The thought was that I'd be able to make pre-prepared syrettes (I'm big into disaster preparedness) that could be administered for, say, a fall and subsequent break when I'm hiking to drag myself to safety or if I'm at a particularly boring party. In actuality, I'd stuff them in my go-bag so if I get into any of a number of situations where I get a scrape and have to keep moving without time to go to the hospital, I could jam it into my leg and be good to go.
So the question becomes - how do I do it? My hypothesis was to buy some insulin needles (just the needles, not the syringes), cold water extract the hydrocodone, and suspend it in USP which I'd then transfer to a flexible plastic tube that would receive the needle end. So, the question becomes:
-Is this fundamentally sound?
-More importantly, do I need just the hydrocodone or would I be better served by keeping the Acetaminophen?
-What can I use for my syrettes?
-Is there a lot of shit I need to filter out in the pill (filler, etc.)?
Thanks in advance! I know some of you are going to say "SWIM Says just keep 'em and crush em up and parachute 'em," others still will likely say I'm just going to shoot it now, but the emphasis here is on storage. I'm keeping half for sustained relief, but I think it'd be handy to have some homebrew Morphine Syrettes a la WWII.
Thanks everybody!
