I have been taking 4 10/325 generic perc's per day for several years to help alleviate severe knee and back pain. I discovered the Watson brand seemed to work best for me and I found a pharmacy that carried that brand. After about two years of getting the Watson's I came home to find a new smaller battle and a new manufacturer- Alvogen.

Has anyone had positive or negative experiences with the Alvogen brand of oxycodone meds? I know they are all supposed to be bio-equivalent but am really worried. I wasn't aware of the switch until I got home with a 28 day supply and now I'm sure I can't return them to try and find a pharmacy that sells the Watson brand.

It's really important to me as I count on this med to help me do basics like shower, dress, and work, albeit I can only work part-time now and can't stand for more than a few minutes.

Thanks for your replies!

Unfortunately we don't do generic discussion at Bluelight. Most of the responses you're going to get are going to lack objectivity, since there is no concrete data on the differences between brands of the same drug. Excessive speculation on brands which is inconclusive could be counter-productive to you and other readers.

I hope you understand why we discourage such discussions as per the Basic Drug Discussion Guidelines which can be viewed through a click of a button via my signature. I'm going to have to close this, please send me a PM if you need further clarification.
