The divine play forever moving onward
Many actors so caught up in their role forget their true identity
That’s when suffering takes its toll
When they feel fragmented instead of whole
A sense of “I” starts to concretize
Causing wants and needs
Which are ever growing as the “I” grasps its debris
Lusting at everything it sees
“I” can never be happy
It can only want more
It will always be looking ahead for whats in store
And if the present isn’t providing the wants
It looks backwards to when they were fulfilled
Scared everyday of the day “I” will be killed
Confused mind believes itself to be the body-mind
Forgetting itself in the 10,000 things of maya
You can destroy this delusion when you inquire
Just ask who am I?
Feel the subtle energy of the question unfasten your ignorance
Let the question rest in the great expanse feel the openness of space
The clarity of your true face
No object
No limit
No quality
Just watching
Always watching
Perfected never growing, never shrinking
Never stained, never polished
As it is
Suchness
Unelaborated
Unmanifest
Clear light

world is a stage, you know, that's what I thought of when I read that--great writing--we spend so much time trying to "act" the right way around others and it strays as further and further away from paths discovering who we actually are. it's always to please somebody else.

you eloquently state what many of us are trying to understand. thank you :)
