Hi,

After spending hours looking for people who have either took the ACTIQ fent lollies or Fentora (buccal tablet). I thought I'd post here.

Do you reckon a whole 200ug Fent Lolly will be too much for an opiate naive user?

I AM ONLY INTERESTED IN DOSAGE V DANGER, not general danger of fentanyl

Save your lectures about Fentanyl killing X, Y and Z. Please be blunt: 'I think 200ug has a chance of killing you' or whatever. I know there is no absolute and it is no exact science, but I don't particularly wanna hear "fent should be used when you have X tolerance" or "fent is dangerous, blahblahblah" because I know most of the facts regarding the dangers of fentanyl. Just not specifics I.E. DOSAGE <- which I am interested in.
 
From the fact sheet on Fentora:
fatal cases in patients not tolerant to opioids

A starting dose is recommended at a maximum of 100mcg and this is only for a patient that is being transfered onto it from another strong opiate.

What you propose doing would very likely kill you. Avoid.
 
Yeah I read the fact sheet. That I assumed was just for pain relief, cus half the time recreational dose is a technical overdose. Do either of you have previous experience or any reason to believe 200ug would be dangerous?
 
I said that I thought that dose would very likely kill someone with no tolerance, so yes I think that qualifies as having reason to believe it would be dangerous...
 
At a time when I had no tolerance (had been about 3 years off opiates), I got one of those. Like you I was not sure about dose, so what I did was break a piece off that was maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the lollipop. I let that dissolve in my mouth, and was glad I did it like that because that was all I needed--I got very high off it. Saved the rest for a different day

Basic message--don't take it all at once. You can always take more if you take a piece first. But you can't make it go back.
 
200ug is a very large dose for a naive user. It walks the line for being dangerous/lethal and as you prob know, that line isnt very big with fentanyl. Also an overdose wont be recreational at all, it will feel awful. Start with 50ug and wait an hour before trying more.
 
It is too hard to gauge. I have known opiate naive people who weighed over 200lbs who were floored by 5mg of oxy.

On the other hand I have seen little 90lb. girls with NO experience with opiates walk a straight line after 20mg of oxy.

When I was opiate naive. 5mg of oxy actually would have me nodding.

I would have to suggest trying a less potent opiate before you get to the fentanyl so you and we are able to give you a better estimate. That may not work for you though, so of course, start at 50ug and work up. It is a short lived high, but it comes on very quick so you will have a good idea of what you will want to do 10 minutes after consumption.
 
Haha. I said in my previous thread. I took 80mg oxy on several occasions and it didn't really give me a pronounced effect. Have snorted 40mg a bit of euphoria etc. I'm 180ish lb and I have tried several reliable brands of oxy. I usually do 40-50g of poppy straw or 400mg of codeine to get a buzz. Have also tried china white, and chased normal no3 gear

After not taking any opiates for a month and a half i could take oxy20 with no effect, its weird. I ate OC (crushed into fine powder) 40mg waited an hour-2 hours no effect
 
Also bear in mind that cross tolerance between these drugs is not complete. Another good reason to start small if you must proceed at all.
 
I have a hard time believing 80mg oxy didn't do much while 400mg codeine gives you "a buzz"

Take the teeniest of tiniest of licks. Wait 30 min. No effects? Take 2 teeny tiny licks. No effects? Take 3 and so on and so forth

Basic rule is start lower than you ever considered, and work your way up very slowly
 
Odd isn't it. Morphine based products seem to make me euphoric and high. Like poppy tea, MST a bit, codeine (granted its weak), china white H etc.

Oxycodone, different brands on different occasions didn't do much. One time I swallowed, 40mg and snorted 2x20mg a hour an a half later. Nothing that impressive. Loads of people loved these OC80s crushed up. Didn't do it for me, weird.

Morphine SR crushed, or poppy tea, or probably even 400+ codeine have me better euphoria
 
i think its because oxycodone is related to thebaine alkaloid of the poppy plant. it's not for everyone, its a stimulating high and it doesn't get "noddy" - i personally fucking love oxycodone and can't think of a better opiate but thats just me.

as everyone has said, cross tolerances do not exist between these opiates and i can't stress that enough. when i was abusing oxy at fucking high doses - 300mg and i hadn't touched dihydrocodeine in over a year, 200mg had me floored (along with some oxy - i took a small dose of it, and even made a post about the incredible synergy of the two opiates together).

i've also seen a 90lbs tiny tiny girl snort around 60mg of oxycodone and be able to walk, talk and function though and she had 0 opiate tolerance or experience. this was during my really fucked up stages of my life when i would share my drugs with anyone and give them a lot. i was fucking shocked by that. at the same time I've seen a 140lbs guy take 10mg of oxycodone and literally was so high he couldn't move from his bed.

it seems as if you're a fan of the morphine based opiates -and fair enough. stick to them and don't fuck with the most dangerous opiate available until you have some real experience with opiates.
 
Yeah, it's brilliant advice from all of you, thanks. I wish I could say 'Ill save it' but I don't ever plan to get that much of a tolerance that its be a good idea in most people's eyes.

Ill probs just stick with 50ug like people said. I can't see that being fatal.
 
I think that would be safest. You can always add more but cant take it back once taken.lol let us know how you get on and it could be a good guide for other new users of fent. :-D
