"Acid 'Stache"

OK I know this is silly beyond belief, and I no doubt deserve to be battered and ridiculed for wasting your extremely valuable time and topic space on it, but I used the term "Acid Stash" in a thread here and had an idea pop into my head that I can't do, but that fans of psychedelics who are also artists might want to take a go at... or not, whatever, probably just too goofy to bother with. Oh well... I'm not above humiliating myself and making a thread to propose the concept in the hopes someone takes it up... and most likely this will eventually get moved to the "Media" black hole, although I point out no ACTUAL media yet exist! (is that a loophole? hehe)

So...

"If I was a good enough artist to concoct an image of a big bushy mustache [like Earl in "My Name Is Earl" TV series perhaps, or even a more elaborate one] made out of all kinds of trippy fractals or whatnot, I would insert it here, haha! :D Hint Hint... project for you budding psychedelic artists out there? I hereby grant you use of the title "Acid 'Stache" =D"

(I would not be surprised if in all the time since the sixties till now this jokey stupid image/title combo has not already been produced somewhere by someone)

For a second I thought this was going to be about a fake mustache one could adorn that was completely laced with LSD and all one had to do to dose themselves was lick their mustache inconspicuously while in public. Dosestachin' on the go!

A trippy fractal'd mustache would be sick though, haha. Could see this being a real fad in the late 2060's/70's, assuming some sort of futuristic cyber_hippy movement resurges then.
 
OP, I'd love to know what was going through your head when you came up with the idea of posting this. But anyway, I didn't draw this, but is this the kind of thing you meant?

I don't what I was thinking... Wait yes I do, here's exactly what happened:

I wrote in a thread where a guy was gonna do acid for the 3rd time in a week, and I said, no, man, save it... trip #2 can still be 80%, but by trip #3 in one week you have large tolerance and you'll be lucky to feel 50% of the dose so, just wait a little longer and perserve your precious Acid Stash. Which I capitalized because, you know, it's precious. So then a commercial for the Earl show comes on TV right then, and the really goofy silly lobe of my brain goes, "Hey, how about some dude with a real trippy lookin' 'Acid 'Stache'??? HAHAHAHAHA!!!" and I started giggling to my self here on the couch, Speck and PePe my cat and parrot arouse from their afternoon snoozes and give me odd quizzical tilty head "what the hell is daddy giggling about?" looks, and here we are.

So now - we have Acid 'Stache.

Could be a little more intense, but funny as hell, a great start!

Can't wait, CannabisCanuck! Wilford Brimley might also be hilarious, both because his ultra-conservative grumpy stodgy image would make it that much funnier, and also the fact that his comically GINORMOUSLY oversized walrus-'stache would give more surface area for whatever trippy designs are used to show thru... would be neat if some of the hair texture also overlapped... more "realistic"... I may just have to try and wrangle Corel Paint, which I have but never really tried using yet. Well we shall see. kazanokizu, glad you are looking at this "merrily"... if you can't take a few seconds out of "real" "serious" life to do goofy silly laughable things now and again, well then what's the point? Only people actually ON psychedelics would be pursuing this, IMO. Pretty sure everyone else would be all "WTF is wrong with those geeks?" :D

The Earl variety is good.

I'd like also to see something in a handlebar mustache style. The way the ends of the handlebar variety curl up ....it just lends itself to psychedelia.

Think Salvador Dali.

Go create yourself a free account at http://www.4shared.com/ where you will get 10GB of totally FREE space to upload anything you want (250 mg and under I believe). They even have nice built in in-line streaming media players, or download options, you can give out a URL to access your uploaded material that anyone can use without being a member.

So.... make an account there (10GB is pretty generous for free IMO)... upload your picture... get the public URL of the image... make a post here and put that URL in the post between
(the whole URL from http:// to .jpg) and we will be able to see it. OR just post the URL and I can make a post to display it. No need to upload.
 
niiice ok i made an account on 4shared and have uploaded the pic, for now its bad camera quality but tomorrow i can scan it for the real deal

Now that you mention it, I can imagine a wildly dyed moustach becoming fashionable on the west coast, or among Deadheads, etc., and it coming to be called "The Acid 'Stache" haha! Maybe we can start a trend! Maybe I need to start a Wikipedia page for the term (well, if I had needed privs to do that), that claims it already IS a real fad, and that's what they're called! Anyone know anyone who has status to create a new Wiki topic? Stealth culture modification by claiming something you'd LIKE to see occur is in fact already trendy, hehe! %)

I'm going to do this, seriously. Next time I get a few tabs I'm going to stick them under a fake moustache. Also, stealth-dosing might be a bit obvious if your moustache looks psychedelic. Anyway I'll tell you how it goes :)
