Acid for the first time, at Disney World, questions

I'm going on a trip to Orlando with some friends and we're all gonna take acid at Disney World. They have done LSD one time before but i didn't do it. So that means my first time ever taking acid will be at Disney World. Do you think its a bad idea? Im a chill person and im always laidback and going with the flow. Anybody that has done acid and has some tips they'd care to share is greatly appreciatted!
 
I think this is a bad idea, especially since it will be your first time.

Will there be another person with you guys that will not be on acid?
 
Wow.. I wouldn't recommend this! Your brain is already a theme park on LSD =D things could turn really weird and put you in a really shit mental state especially if its your first time, it could wreck your whole day. Take care mate.
 
I just tripped at an Amusement Park yesterday, it was a disaster, and I've dropped acid tons of times in lots of different situations.

After I got off the first roller coaster and walked another mile to the next ride, I had enough of the eons of stupid people everywhere, the thought of waiting in line, and the heat.

So I had my fiance take me home and we left my other two friends tripping there for most of the day, each of them (and I agree) would say that while the rides are fun, the rest of it is a pretty well wasted and traumatizing experience, we wouldn't repeat it again. That is unless it was a cooler and pretty empty day somewhere, along the lines of a rainy amusement park day.

Why dont you just hold on to the acid and find something a little more free flowing and open ended than an amusement park?
 
yeah theres actually gonna be 2 people with us that will not be taking acid. And damn, its really intense like that? Would it be better to drop some before so i get a feel for it? So that way it wont be my first time. Is it obvious to the people there that im on something?
 
Yeah maybe do that but still, every time you do it the experience can be different especially when you take into account the setting you do it in which can change your mood and trip. If you really want to combine drugs and theme parks I think a bit of weed might be a better option.
 
yeah i think so too.. i think im just gonna try it sometime this week and determine for myself if i'll be able to handle it or not

As to the subject of tripping on a particular chemical for the first time at an amusement park, I'd have to say I am highly opposed to this idea. Your first trip (and the next few) should be in an environment you are comfortable with, and you should be free to explore your thoughts and feelings as you choose. Being in a crowded public area is a recipe for potential disaster, and waiting in lines not that exciting.

That said, I have tripped at an amusement park before and enjoyed it, but it was on a conservative dose of a chemical I was very familiar and comfortable with (at a theme park I am very familiar and comfortable with). If you must do it, dose very low, I'd consider taking some other drug like cannabis (GHB is a good one IMO, just don't redose recklessly and carp out, or look at all intoxicated).
 
i was thinking i would have to take sunglasses because i dont think disney world with all the kids and parents will be too hospitable about the idea of someone on drugs there.
 
If you're gonna trip first time on a substance at a theme park, you'd be better off doing 2c-b. No I haven't taken it myself yet, but I hear it's significantly less intense than acid. Take a low dose (15mg or less) and you'll be properly cognisant and unlikely to be overwhelmed by it. I recommend the same for your friends who've only done acid once.

But if you go for 2c-b instead, I still think you should do it a few times NOT at the amusement park, so you know how you react to the drug. The last place you want to be when you find out your reaction is to take off your pants and run around screaming, is surrounded by families, security guards and film crews.
 
Tryptamines tend to be pretty "up", which makes any kind of waiting around in line fucking unbearable. I would really suggest against having your first acid experience at Disney World. Sounds awful. Someone suggested 2c-b. I think that Mescaline or MDMA might do okay for you. Acid and shrooms tend to be a little speedy sometimes though. Not good for standing in the heat for hours and hours. I once went to the top of the space needle on Seattle on LSA, but that was at night, it was cool out, the line didn't take very long, and we hadn't really started tripping yet. It was still kinda sketch. We went back the next day to look at the photo they take of you before you go up. They try to get you to pay to have it printed on mugs and keychains and shit, and for THAT photo it might have almost been worth it. We looked fucked up. =D
 
Please don't take a powerful psychedelic for your first time at a major theme park lol but if you must, please please please take only 1 and don't start a schene lol this obviously very risky and you risk giving psychedelics a bad name if something does happen.

Atleast you aren't going to a haunted house for Halloween or something because then there would be even more concern. Just behave yourself and everything should be fine. Stay hydrated and keep a bunch of snacks on hand so you don't have to associate with many people.
 
What is it with Disney World and LSD questions?

Anyway... waiting in line and shambling along like sheep for a controlled 'fun' experience, extortionately priced food and a lot of artificial tack. Hmm yeh sounds like an tripper's wet dream.
 
in very small doses it can be fun and turn everything into a laugh fest but taken in larger doses it can be quite traumatic. i was up for 3 days once with severe suicidal /psychotic thoughts after taking wayy too much. had to force all of my roommates to leave for their own safety because i was affraid i would hurt them. seriously bad trip. definately start small and be careful everyone reacts differently. just because your buddy can take two and have fun doesnt always mean that you can.

Could be amazing but for a first time tripper i wouldnt recommend it at all.

First time Lsd user + Disney World = Recipe for disaster
 
I think its a horrible idea for a first trip and still a bad idea for not very experienced trippers. Even for very experienced people I'd say its a doubful idea; it could be fun and interesting but still; they're be nó peace there, no escape, no quiet, constantly people everywhere; I'd say it'd be pretty stressful.

For first time I suggest someone's house, a forest or some other quiet place, and if you're really into raves, an illegal outdoor rave with plenty of nature around it where everyone is ok with people tripping can be a decent location even if you're not experienced yet, other then that I'd say most locations are not suitable for first time tripping.

Bottomline: take it somewhere else first; come back to the idea in a few years when you've had time to collect some experience.

From my experience one time doing acid (especially if its also your first psychedelic experience in general) can be very misleading in regards to the tripping experience.

Based on set and setting the same dose of the same psychedelic can be such a different experience. I did acid the first time and loved it and thought I understood it and could handle it easily and then my second trip I had a very different and fairly unpleasant experience.

So my point is that just because they've done it once doesnt mean they have a good knowledge of the substance or their reaction to it. Could be an absolute disaster for all of you.
 
It's definitely not a good idea to take acid for the first time in public. If you insist on doing it anyway, take it in your hotel room and wait a couple hours before you think about venturing outside. If you do go into the parks, wear sunglasses (your pupils will be massively dilated) and have a sober friend with you who can bring you back to the room if need be, and do things like talk to cashiers / line attendants for you. Stay well hydrated. IMO, you'll have a much better experience having your first trip with a few good friends in a private place.
