Acid - First time - ...Why not go to Hooters?

I went to school in Boston, Ma, and it was the shit. First, I loved it for the weed. The best trees I've been able to find, consistently. Then, I tried mushrooms. I've never had an easier time getting them than in Boston. Finally a friend of mine offered me the hardest drug I've ever intended to do, acid. He had one tab of what he said was really good stuff left, and it turned out to be true.
Another friend of mine had also expressed interest in trying it. The tab was $10, a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. We split it down the middle. Now, to this point, we had only tripped on mushrooms, and not even good mushrooms. Our experiences with that have contributed to us having a great deal of confidence in how we can handle ourselves under the influence of anything. We had asked different people who have done it before, and the advice everyone gave was to avoid public places and stay far, far away from public transportation. So naturally, fifteen minutes after taking it, we decided to take the T to Hooters. When we got there it had been about forty-five minutes, maybe an hour, and we were starting to feel like we'd been burned. Neither of us felt anything at all. That all changed by the time our waitress came to talk to us.
I just remember starting to feel very confused and staring at the waitress, then looking at my friend, and switching back and forth for a moment until my friend finally ordered for both of us. He was laughing while he did it, and I thought he was laughing at me. After the waitress left he started talking to me, asking me how I felt, because I guess I looked retarded. At this point I remembered we had taken the acid, and realized what was going on. He kept laughing and looking around, pointing out different things he was starting to see, and I started to get very confused again.
While I sat there and contemplated where I was and what I was doing there, I found myself nearly on the floor hanging out of my seat. My friend was tapping me on the shoulder telling me to get up before anybody saw. Apparently I had suddenly fallen out of my seat, though I don't remember that part, I only remember the end result. The waitress arrived with our wings and we ate them for what seemed like hours. It was the most delicious meal I've ever eaten, and half of it was all over me.
Laughing hysterically for some reason I can't remember, I don't think it was the sauce all over me, we paid the bill and left. We then decided to wander around this part of boston that we didn't know very well. I don't know what time it was, but the streets were nearly empty. Then we saw a limo.
This limo sparked our interest, and we went to it. From there, we could see more limos down the way, along with cabs and cars and a large group of people heading this way. We were right by the Fleet Center when a Jamn' 94.5 concert got out. For those of you unfamiliar with that station, their style of music attracts mostly chubby 14 year old girls dressed like hookers and lots of wanna-be thugs doing their best to dress to impress these girls six years younger than most of them. This was not my crowd, and not the time to see them. But, they were coming from the Fleet Center, and that was a place we knew how to get home from.
We climbed a small wall and stayed up in a sort of business garden or something, watching the crowds move, waiting for them to leave, and then we realized a lot of them weren't leaving. They were hanging around, too many small-time rappers were trying to push their shit on these fools. They weren't going anywhere. We decided to try and move through them. We started walking along the garden, but one of the plants looked somewhat frightening. I paused, and my friend who apparently didn't see this thing glaring at me like I was dinner asked what was up. I told him about the plant staring at me and tried to point it out to him, but he didn't see it. I stared into the eyes of the plant and then looked back to my friend, only to find that he was gone. I was alone with this thing. I could get past it.
I started to walk past it and I don't know if I just fell because I was tripping, or if I really tripped on something, but I thought the plant had grabbed me and pulled me down. I tried to face it, lunging headfirst into it. Now, this was just a big bush, and it led to quite a few scratches. After what seemed like hours of battling this killer plant, my friend pulled me out of the bush and told me we need to jump off the wall. It was only like 6-8 feet high at this point, but it looked like a bottomless pit to me. My friend jumped down to show me that it was fine, and I saw that he was alright, but I just couldn't bring myself to jump. Eventually, I just closed my eyes and jumped. I fell on my ass when I hit the ground but after I got up I realized I was better off jumping than staying with that plant.
My friend seemed to be more clearheaded than me at this point, so I followed him through the crowds. I felt like everyone was staring at me, so I put my hood up and kept my head down, trying not to be seen. I was just walking behind my friend when he started to speed up, and then run. I ran after him, thinking it must be cops or something. We pushed our way through the crowd and out into the open and he kept running a bit, finally stopping out of sight of the crowd. I asked him what the hell was going on, and he said he didn't know, everyone just started yelling at him and attacking him and he had to run away. I told him it wasn't real, and that he was tripping, and he said we needed to get out of there. This was a great idea. We happened to come out of the crowd near the T station, and we got on the train heading back to school. There were a lot of kids from the concert on it, so me and my friend just went to a corner and tried to ignore them. A few of the girls there were hard to ignore, and we may have scared them a little, but nobody really freaked out so everything was fine.
We were still tripping hard at school, the designs on the carpet throughout the dorm were going crazy, and the walls were breathing, or at least what I think breathing is. After going to my common room and watching some TV, we decided things were a lot more interesting on the outside.
At this point, the T had stopped running. We were just walking down the road from school looking for anyplace we could go. The Prudential was open... sort of. They let people through at all hours of the night, I'm guessing because of the hotel. We were walking and running through, having some fun but not messing their shit up, and then we saw security. We just started walking calmly, and he followed us until we reached the hotel and he turned and left. We hung out by the hotel entrance trying to figure out what we should do, and we decided to head up as far as we could go and look for a window. We went up to... I think it was the 19th floor, something like that. The top floors were unaccessible to us, I think they were suites or something. Anyway, this place has some crazy designs throughout it, the carpet was nuts. I watched it move for probably a half hour just sitting in a char in the hallway. It formed lots of strange things, creatures and such. Quite the experience for me. So up on the floor we were on, there were no windows. We went down a couple floors and found that it was the same. The windows were reserved for rooms, damnit. I was starting to get freaked out by everything there, the whole empty hotel scene kind of reminds me of The Shining, gives me a spooky vibe or something. So we decided to leave and wander around Boston some more.
We spent hours just wandering aimlessly through the area, the visuals were no longer really intense but certain things were still morphing in front of me. We did a lot of talking about different things, just what was going on around us and in the world, I wish I could remember more details of the conversation, as I remember it being very interesting. Eventually, we just went back to school and hung out for a bit, unable to sleep, until we came down. I know there's a lot I don't remember, quite a few gaps, but I know I enjoyed every bit of it, evening the frightening parts.

yea, got advice and didnt listen, i love it! hahaha im like that aswell, ppl tell me must do's and must not do's when i try new things, and i just go out and do them to see what all the fuss is about, i love the plant experince though, crazy!!!!!!

peace

^ah, totally fear and loathing style.
very enjoyable to read though. sounded great.

fucking excellent. im in school in boston now too, right by the prudential center and all that. i dont think i could have dealt with the T and a Jam'n concert, good lord. the reflecting pool at the pru and the big christian science church are amazing. i'm waiting for the weather to warm up so i can do some shrooms and hang out around there. maybe longboard down the reflecting pool at night would be nice! and architecture really makes me happy when im tripping and that church is ridiculous for that.

nice report!

^^^^ haha yea it was a little hard to read at first LOL

Yeah the christian science place was awesome later on while we were walking around. Huntington felt like such a short road then, but so long every other time I've walked down it. And in case you're considering it, don't try to swim in the water at the church...

great report!!!

i myself have been attacked by several potted plants under similar circumstances:p :p

i dont know if it could be considered a form of hppd, but the carpet at the theater at madison square garden is still breathing years after i've done any acid anywhere near it

damn, they better change carpet, it must be at least 10 years old!!!!

and i'm tired of the same old visuals!!!

hmmm, come to think of it, i've had my chicken wings attack me while i was trying to eat them8o 8o

i guess they were a bit too spicy=D =D

haha excellent story :) I liked the chair at hooters bit, i can imagine coming to at a funny angle to the world :)

LOL.. I am mostly a spiritual tripper, but once in a while I'll go for some "Fear and Loathing" style tripping. Six Flag's "Fright Fest" on LSA was probably one of my wildest days.
