Acid Did Not Work

Hey guys, this is my first post exciting right?
So last night, me and two buddies went to the valley to get "some drugs." I really only smoke weed and know nothing about any other drug besides maybe DMT, ecstasy and mushrooms.

Anyways, long story short, I bought a tab (one little square) from this dude. He happened to show me two other sheets (I always pictured a sheet to be like 12" by 12") but they were about 4" by 4", each had different designs and they just looked like pieces of paper. This, to my knowledge, was acid. It seemed like the real deal. The fact that the sheets had a creative design on it, one of the sheets had been started, and that the dude sat with me and my friends for about 30 minutes debating if he would give it to me for some weed made it all seem legit.

He kept his sheets in tinfoil in a sealed plastic bag, but they weren't refrigerated (I've heard it needs to stay cool). The room was dim; I wouldn't say it was exposed to any strong light. So I ended up getting really baked, as I intended, kept the tab, which was in tinfoil, in my pocket and found myself home later that night. I put it in a little wooden box I keep in my room (my room doesn't have any bright lights, only dark blue/magenta colored lights).

Tonight I decided it was worth a try. I grabbed the tab by it's edges (as I was told), put it on my tongue and swallowed it within a minute. Pretty much that was five hours ago and now I'm bummed.

So, should I take more the next time I come across it? Is there a chance the tab went bad? Please let me know.

If you felt nothing after dropping for your first time, than you probably have either one of two things. Really weak light-exposed lsd, or you just got ripped off by someone selling "tabs".

The NBOMe series has been increasingly popular as an LSD substitute for some time now. Unscrupulous dealers will often pass it off as LSD and while it is similar, it is also much cheaper and destroyed by the digestive tract. You could also have just been sold plain paper. It is far more likely than the tab being degraded.

Unfortunately there is no way for us to know for sure and as a result we don't allow substance ID threads.

If you want to know, you'll need to buy a test kit, which can be bought from organisations like EZtest, Dancesafe and the Bunk Police.

Less common substances will require analytical testing, provided by the likes of ecstasydata, Energy Control and others.
