acetaminophen(paracetamol) overdose?

I currently have 7 pills with 300mg acetaminophen and 30mg codeine in each. i would like to take 6 and i am considering taking 7. They say not to take over 4000mg acetaminophen in 1 day, but would 1800mg (6 pills) or 2100mg (7 pills) at one time be bad? I dont drink or regularly take acetaminophen if that matters. Also i really would like to avoid a cold water extraction if possible (i know its easy, its just that 1 i dont want to waste any codeine because i only have 210mg codeine total, and that i heard the acetaminophen makes the codeine effects stronger).

Any advice would be appreciated :D Thanks in advance!
 
taking large doses of apap when you do not need it is bad for you. after that, it's relative.

personally, i would not sweat a one time dose of 2grams of apap. but i abuse drugs. and i am definitely not recommending you take anything.
 
Codeine is already ridiculously weak as it is, i wouldn't risk losing 25 - 50mg worth of it in a CWE when your only gonna be taking a couple grams of APAP anyway.

Ive personally taken RIDICULOUS amounts of APAP when i was addicted to Lortab. At one time i was regularly taking 6 - 10 GRAMS of APAP a day. But i do not condone that kind of use, lol. Atleast not if you care about your liver.
 
yes, 4000mg is the upper daily limit, with a standard of 1 gram at a time with the 4000mg spaced in 8 hour intervals. Even at that accepted level, a liver function test will show anomalies and you will be at a higher risk for hepatic problems.

Do the CWE...an APAP overdose proper (like 10-12g) is an unpleasant terminal condition, within a few hours there will be an onset of abdominal pain and gastrointestinal distress, and it will carry on into liver failure, then systemic organ failure and death in a ~4days to a week~ unless a liver transplant is done.

chronic over use of APAP will give you liver damage similar to alcohol.

Is grabbing that extra 5-10% of codeine worth it? just extract the stuff dude, you don't loose much codeine and it takes all of 20 minutes.

APAP and codeine have synergy in analgesic effect not in intoxicating effect. To increase that, try sedating antihistamines (Promethazine is #1, hydroxazine is also great, but OTC diphenhydramine is just fine) grapefruit juice or the otc stomach product ranitidine, for the effect they have on codeine's conversion to morphine by an enzyme, or CNS depressants like benzodiazapines, or even smoking some weed. Not that I'm recommending it, but all of the foregoing are better for you then tossing tonnes of APAP at your liver.

You're saying 10g is about the amount for liver failure (give or take obviously)? Than why if i'm only taking 2g as a one time thing would you say I still have to do the CWE?

Edit: Also, would 210mg codeine be a lot? Or should I only take the 180. Iv'e taken 180 before and although I liked it, at one point when I was falling asleep I felt like I was forgeting to breathe and kept psyching myself out haha but I think I was just being paranoid because of shallow breathing
 
^If you don't have opiate tolerance, 90-120mg should be sufficient in all honesty. Considering that you have 220mg, you could probably get two doses out of that given no tolerance.

Iv'e taken 180mg before and honestly Iv'e enjoyed bud more, but it's all I have right now and I want a nice relaxing air flight on my way to peru. I will be able to function in an airport on 180-210mg codeine right? lmao
 
shit now i'm nervous... WAY TO MAKE ME FUCKING NERVOUS lmao. The reason I was nodding off though was because I was laying on my bed at 2 in the morning listening to music... I'm sure I would be fine if I was in the airport walking... plus i'm arriving at 4 in the morning at the airport, so you're supposed to be tired? Idk any opinions on that?

Edit: I want to take it before I go in because I'm going in with family and if I take it in the car I'll be fine, but if I go inside, and the lines are short at security they might think its weird if i'm sketching off to the bathroom. I feel like i'm playing it safe by taking it before I go in the airport. How intoxicating is 180mg? I've never walked around on it. I've only taken it at night and just laid down and put on music, so idk how intoxicating it really is.
 
Different. Weed makes your eyes red and pupils dilated. Opiates make your pupils look like the tip of a pin or something, barely there.
 
everything about this thread has been answered well enough. especially given its subjective nature.

do not bring illegal codeine pills into an airport. that would be silly.
