So you think if something were to happen it would have happened already, I'm now at 27 hours since the 2000mg dose of APAP and 20 hours since the following dose of about 1000mg.

I think in a way I've kind of worried myself sick. I took an adderall 20mg IR earlier just to get my mind off this and to feel some euphoria, because I have been pretty scared and paranoid about the situation, I'm coming off it now and I haven't really eaten today so I don't feel great, but I'm not having any pain, I'm not turning yellow, and I feel fine for the most part. I have not taken any APAP in 20 hours now. Hopefully I'm good.
 
You're going to be fine, don't worry. Again - the healthy human liver can deal with 10grams+ APAP in an acute dose before it has trouble keeping up. An "extra strength" Tylenol is 500mg. I have a feeling they wouldn't sell it at all if taking 4-6 of them would kill you. You would almost certainly feel sick and like something was wrong within hours of taking too much APAP.

P.S. Adderall will, in general, make anxiety much worse... it stimulates the fight or flight system.
 
A friend of mine, registered nurse, told me that CWE can be very dangerous and apap is serious business when I flipped out after extracting from like 6 30mg codeine w/ 500 APAP each. I have a friend however who claims he used to wake up at 4AM every day and puke up like hardcore bile and has definite liver damage from it but he would go through like maybe 20 (memory tells me more than that but if it's lethal he lived) 5/500 vicodin in a day. It sounds like the poisoning is, as sekio pointed out, something you wouldn't mistake.
 
Your definatelatey fine, I remember taking 15 of the lorcets 10/650(did they stop making those horse pills yet) back in less than 24 hours back when I first got into into opitaes.. One day I woke up with a huuuge ass bruise on the side of my arm, and a bruise on my stomoah, it's then I decicded to be careful about the Apap. But I never had an issue that I know of reguarly taking 2-3 gram dosages of Apap a day, usually stopping at 6 to 8 grams in a day(not reccomending that). These were either the 10/500 or 10/650s..in a way I miss chewin' up those big chalky bitter things a handfull at a time..
 
I know it's been said over and over, but you'll have a very high chance of being 100% fine without even so much as liver damage, let alone failure.

Next time you want that much hydrocodon, do a cold water extraction.
Hydrocodon is water soluble but apap (acetminophen) is not except in very high volumes of hot water. So dissolve the pulls in about 30 ml of water, filter it and drink the water, discard the leftovers in the filter. Even a coffee filter will do fine.

It's a very easy but effective way to reduce harm on your liver :)

Pardon me but.. how the fuck is a cwe dangerous?

As a user of over 200mg codiene daily extracted from 8/325 aspirin pills, I fail to see the danger aside from the dangers of using opiates in general.. it's better than ingesting 3g of apap daily. Ingesting 3g as a one time thing isn't a big deal but doing it daily or on any regular basis is just plain stupid when you are presented with a super easy way of getting what you want out of your pills without the stuff that will harm you
 
Alright well I'm at about 25 hours since I've had anything APAP and 33 since the big 2000mg dose. I feel like I'm most likely going to be okay. I think the adderall wasn't doing me any favors in the paranoia department.

I feel like I was focusing on an APAP overdose just like I would focus on homework or making music while on addy. I just did 2 roxi to chill me out and even though I'm high I think I'll be fine. I've been drinking tons of water, just ate a good meal and hopefully I'll get some good rest tomorrow, wake up feeling good and go on with my life with a new important lesson learned. I will never take anything with APAP in it again unless it's absolutely necessary and I have no other options.
 
Man acetaminophen poisoning is not fun. Its definitely something you know you have right away you know something isn't right.Its not gonna happen after one dose unless you swallow a bottle of Tylenol it take time like skip said. When I was 18 it happens to me at work I was throwing up blood after a hand full of percocets and T3s my liver gave out. I was taking 30 or more T3s along with percocets each day when that was all I could get before I did heroin all the time. I never thought about the pills having acetaminophen in them ever I just gobbled them down to feel the opiates in the pills. After that I started heroin which was not nearly as bad on MY liver so I stuck with that until I quit it.
 
That sounds a lot like my story. My girlfriend and I scored lots of Tylenol 3's .and percodans and percosets in the 70's She would do a couple and I'd do a hand full..Had liver problems since. Then got HEP 3 when we started shootin Dilaudids.Very lucky -no problems yet. Yeah,tylenol is very hard on the liver.
 
We're giving advice here, but shouldn't these type of threads be closed and him told to go the doctor - even if we know what he took is not too damaging, and definitely not lethal. Are the exceptions like this when the questions aren't life threatening/too dumb?

Doesn't Hep C have a cure now, that costs like 60k without insurance? Or does it just control the cirrhosis/damage?
 
There is a cure a pretty intense 8month or so long treatment similar to chemotherapy treatment.
My best friend is doing it at the moment and is cured after having it since 12
 
I live in Canada we get it free;)
My friend was an addict/alcoholic on the streets his whole life he had no money but he's still a person so he gets the same treatment the rich people do in the states.

Yeah,I heard of the treatment/cure but without health ins. in the States you're outta luck. I was diagnosed with it over 20 years ago . I quit drinking and my tests came back much better. Doesn't mean its gone,just not as high enzymes readings. It don't go away without 60K. or very expensive insurance.
 
Yea what a shame it sucks that there is a cure you just need to be rich to get it.
 
Hello all. I am now officially a Bluelighter !
This is my 51st post.
I am experienced with opiates. I have managed to keep doses lower but effective.
A few weeks ago I had a enlarged lymph node removed and the biopsy reveled Hodgkins Lymphoma Malignant. I haven't even been back for the post surgery doctor visit. Anyway, point being, the stupid doctor gave me Percocet 5/325 for the pain. I managed to get 60 for like three weeks. He even had the nerve to try to get me to take ibuprofen 600 mg for pain. That stuff is garbage to me. The problem I'm having a problem with all the APAP in the pills. I also managed to get my hands on 50 more Percs, so 110 for a while. I felt sick to my stomach so I ate some multi vitamins to help liver and it helped right away. I'm getting some tricyclics to boost the opiate, but still is a max 4000 mg a day really bad? It's not every day, but often enough.
 
I'm closing this thread before it totally derails into everyone and their dog posting about whether they are going to live after an APAP overdose. The OP is safe now.

Again: If you are worried about APAP overdose, see a doctor first...
