Accutane and St. Johns Wort

Can you take St. Johns Wort while on Accutane? i did some research but couldnt find anything solid. there were a few sites saying that if you were a girl you shouldnt take it because of pregnancy complications but im a guy so i dont think i need to worry about that haha

i wanna start SJW for depression but thought it'd be smart to run it by you guys first, or if anyone has any other herbs/supplements they'd like to recommend for depression im all ears (or eyes i guess) :D

oh and just for the record my main desire for SJW is because i've been abusing MDMA/Adderall prettyy bad lately, and SJW upregulates serotonin-receptors. thanks for the help guys

I'm not sure of any direct interactions between these two substances; to get a more accurate opinion you can call any 24 hour pharmacy, ask to speak to the pharmacist, and ask what the interactions between these two things are, if any. You don't have to be a customer there to ask a question about drugs.

I have heard stories from people about Accutane, never having used it myself, so I just did some quick research on it. One of the known side effects of accutane is depression and suicidal thoughts. This is something you should definitely talk to your doctor about. You might need to try something else for your acne if this is affecting you mentally in a negative way.
