Accutane and Alcohol/Drugs.

Hey guys, I've had acne since I was about 13 years old and have tried everything under the sun to cure it with no success. Recently (over the past 2 months) my acne has exploded and reached levels never seen before, so I decided to go on Accutane and just get it all over within 6 months or less (still quite a long time but it's better then years of acne).

I just started taking it today, infact I just took the first pill (10mg) about 10 minutes ago.

Now, I have a few questions.

I've moved to Winnipeg so I can go to school but I plan on going back to Vancouver around Christmas time. Now, it's only going to be ten days, but I know that I plan on being fucked up for that whole time.

Things I plan on doing include drinking a lot, about 4/10 days, smoking weed once or twice (with a dose of 1mg Xanax to stop the anxiety), doing some blow while drunk (only once, don't know how much, probably quite a bit; also plan on taking 1-2mg Xanax to relieve comedown), and possibly do some MDMA (not pure, in pill form; with a 2mg Xanax dose for the comedown also). Also, remember that each of these are on different days, exept for the Alcohol/Blow.


Now, will there be any problems with this? I know that Accutane can be dangerous on it's own but my doctor has put my on 10mg (the lowest dose possible) so the side effects are miniscule.

Any help would be appreciated.

nope all those things should be fine. haha. but if something feels weird and ur on all that ur not gonna know wat the fuck is doing it. so u might consider doing certain things on seperate nights. xcept for tha good comboz u feel me haha

actually all thatz prolly good to mix. i myself would be a little worried about tha mdma unless u know watz in it

Yes, as I said, I plan on doing them all on different nights.

An example (but nothing near exact) would be:

Day one: Alcohol
Day two: Weed (with 1mg Xanax)
Day three: Alcohol
Day four: MDMA (with 2mg Xanax for comedown)
Day five: Break
Day six: Alcohol
Day seven: Weed
Day eight: Alcohol/Blow (with 1-2mg Xanax for comedown)
Day nine: Break
Day ten: Break (or Alcohol)

Think it should be ok, I'm not aware of any studies to see if there are any interactions between accutane and MDMA.

I was on accutane a few years back. The one thing I would be careful with is the alcohol consumption. One morning, after a night of drinking (seven or eight beers if I remember correctly), I awoke with the most excruciating abdominal pain I have ever experienced. I seriously felt like I was dying. I went to the doctor where they ran some tests. He told me I had an "inflamed liver." He didn't seem overly concerned about it, and I felt a lot better by the next day, but trust me it is not something you want to experience.

Other than alcohol, I don't remember experiencing any negative interactions between accutane and other drugs. That would include weed, coke, adderall, meth, mdma, and mushrooms. Oh to be eighteen again.

i was on accutane for about a year at the age of 17. carried on binge drinking as normal, never experienced any problems. tane made me depressed though, i think it fucked me up a bit

agreed^^^^^^ 18 was probably my best year for everything.

I was on Accutane for same problems in the U.S. and it was the only drug that helped. But I ha to get my blood drawn every two weeks and side effects (dry mouth, dry itchy face, blushing, face burning) were pretty bad. You gotta stick with it and wait it out....it really fuckin helps. I don't guarantee it ll turn you into Chuck Norris but you will be loookin fresh man in less than 2 months.

However, they have those horrible warnings on tv in America now that it causes mental problems and GI tract problems...and it might. I m just sayin its up to you to continue but it helped me for the timeof bein

Ohh and of course I continued drinkin even on Accutane...my doctor didn't say anything about alcohol maybe because i was 16 and in U.S.
