Hi I took 400 milligrams of my Tramadol IR prescription about 45 minutes ago. I completely spaced and had forgotten I last took my dexedrine prescription about 10 hours ago in immediate release form. I know the obvious complications of the two and am really concerned. I have a few Klonopin left in my prescription though I was trying to save them to get through till time for refill.

I HAVE mixed tramadol and stimulants on the same days before and got a red flushed face but was ok but not at 400 milligrams. Anyway I just need some advice quick. Pop the Klonopin and sit here and hope for the best ? God I'm an idiot. I also have Lyrica.

ya klonopin should help with nerves at least or make you not care if it does suck? sounds good to me... sorry about that i didn't even know mixing tramadol and stims were bad i did it the other day -_-

You should be okay with only 10mg Dexedrine and 400mg tramadol. The main concern is that Dexedrine (along with most stimulants and these drugs) can lower the seizure threshold making you more likely to have a seizure on the tramadol (no risk of serotonin syndrone with 10mg dexamphetamine) - it is unlikely, but it is possible.

Taking clonazepam (Klonopin) is a good plan as it will calm you down but more importantly it is an anticonvulsant so it will reduce the seizure risk. Pregabalin (Lyrica) is also an effective anticonvulsant, so I would be tempted to take that too - but bear in mind clonazepam + pregabalin can make you very drowsy if you aren't used to mixing them. I would just take your normal dose (if you take it regularly). If you only take one, pregabalin (Lyrica) is probably a better anticonvulsant, although they both work.

You might get some uncomfortable side effects like you did before but these shouldn't be dangerous and there really is no risk of serotonin syndrome at that dose of a dopaminergic drug like dexamphetamine.

You should be fine :) If you are concerned, make sure someone is with you just in case.

As a general rule though obviously try to avoid taking amphetamines or any other seizure threshold-lowering drugs with tramadol..
