Is there anyway to get access to either Suboxone or Narcan (Nalaxone) for use in emergency situations without having to go to the ER or get scripted them by your doc?
I've recently acquired some stronger meds from a friend and there have been a couple times where I feel I have come close to OD. No passing out, blue lips, or anything like that, just respiratory depression severe enough to where I felt like maybe I needed a Narcan dose or maybe a Suboxone strip to pull me out of it. I actually drove to the ER and sat in my car contemplating going in. Thankfully the ER was completely empty and I told the triage nurse i was having a panic attack and asked him to check my vitals. Everything was good, 02 sats @ 99% on room air, BP normal, heart rate normal etc. He basically told me to go home and take my anxiety meds. Rode it out and things were fine but it did kinda freak me out.
I'm not asking how to illegally acquire these, just wondering if there is a way to get these without it going on record. My problem is if I were to go to the ER they would likely call my pain doc and tell him what happens and poof there goes my pain meds which I need to function. My spine is seriously messed up and I definitely need the meds and non-opiate alternatives have been tried and don't work.
So IS there a way to get this stuff without my pain doc knowing or no?
