ABYSS
Like a gaping black abyss
Deeper than the deepest hole
All my life it's hit and miss
Darkness is my one control
Looking deep inside my mind
This is all that I can find
All the sorrows of mankind
Abyss

Blackness is my only friend
Since I fell below the ground
Still I fall for there's no end
When I scream there is no sound
Fighting for my life in here
How do I come up for air?
You could cut the atmosphere
Abyss

Sinking through the thickest pain
No one else can rescue me
Demons shrieking in my brain
Telling me I'll never flee
I am suffering for my sin
Writhing in my burning skin
Till I find some light within
