Abusing Gabapentin

Has anybody tried getting high off gabapentin? I am prescribed it and have read in articles that you can in fact get some sort of high from taking this medication. Can anybody tell me what the high is like and how much you need to take to get high?

I was prescribed gabapentin after switching psychs and the new doc wanted me to kick the benzos... I got the 300mg capsules. I never tired to get messed up off it, but a friend of mine said it was one of his favorites... idk seems like a cheap high to me. If I was going to try to get a buzz from it I'd have probably taken around 1500mg, but like I said, I never did, and everyone is different.

I did 3 grams a day "i do not recommend this to anyone" for a week cuz i was out of benzos "which im addicted to", it was like a mixture of mild benzo sedation and some stimulating effects..
