Okay I hope I am posting in the correct forum but if I'm not I apologize and you can move it of course or whatever.

Anyways when you see above the influence commercials don't some of them actually make you want to hit yourself in the head or actually go out and do drugs? Seriously one of the newest ones with the two squirrels and they're hanging out on the fence while they watch one of their homes being destroyed. Then the one goes to the other squirrel saying something about that sucks wanna get high or something around those lines and the other one is like wtf? All I can say was that commercial was so stupid and made me want to go do drugs instead of watching stupidity like that.

What is your take on this?

The other one I do like is with the black kids at the diner and one of them goes wanna get twisted? But the kid responds naw man I'm gonna hit the books. The kids who then go get "twisted" leave and the kid who declined asks for the bill but the guy who works or owns the diner says naw man we straight. I find this funny but its also sucks that if we were ever in this situation in real life you know we would still be paying that bill.

:!:!:!:!:!:!:!

It's times like this that I am thankful I don't have a TV, and that I Ad-Block every little thing that comes my way online.

What bullshit. Again, a perfect example of how the Anti-Drugs have no basis in reality, and how drug use opens your eyes to the sham that is our society.

In reality, the dude who is working the shitty job at the diner, overheard the conversation, then met the "bad" kids around back and sold them some shitty MDPV mis-identified as cocaine for inflated prices.

Hahaha I love your post on this :) but yeah these commercials on tv and ads on the internet are so ridiculous. Also if they want people to take them seriously they should get their facts right and also not make them so stupid because half of these situations would never happen in reality. The sad thing is people who never even touched drugs let alone a joint in their life they believe all this bullshit.

They make me want to take drugs that much more.

Counterintuitive, plain and simple.

I agree. Hmmm I thought about it what if above the influence is secretly a movement/institution that wants people to actually do drugs? Haha no, I know its nothing more than the government trying to fill our minds with their made up garbage. We should be able to make commercials that say the truth. We live in america (I know not alll here do) I thought we have freedom of speech. Again another made up lie made by the government.

Indeed. Commercials cost a lot of money to produce and air, however :(

The one with the black dudes in the diner is pretty legit.

When the kids friends ask the other kid if he wants to get twisted, and he says no because he has to hit the books. The owner of the diner hears this, so when he asks for a check, the owner says "nah, we're straight."

Yeah that one is legit but too bad it would never happen. Also the new one with the dad bitching at his son for coming home late with a busted up car. The dads like how much is this gonna cost? And the kids friend sneaks over giving him his brain. I only liked this commercial cause the dad is more worried about the car lol.

Lots of times when they come on I'll take a huge rip from my pipe.

In my mind I like to believe he only declined because he was waiting to after he was done studying to hit the blunt.

Yea, he didn't say "no, I don't get high," he said "no, I gotta hit the books."

He probably went back to the diner later on with the munchies, looking for more free food. ;)

HAHA lol yeah he never said no he doesn't do drugs so he deff went to smoke a blunt after. No doubt about it, wow I can't believe I never realized that before.

i like the one a while back of the of the girl whose melted on the couch, the only thing that made me think is "who's her dealer, and where can i find him"

I never saw that one or maybe I did but just can't remember it. But yeah I can't wait to see what new ones they come out with.

I think a "druggie" should work for above the influence and make so many commercials with hidden meanings in them.

i think those commericals are really stupid. i think the people who make them arent above the influence but under the influence. so under the influence, they actually think there commericals are great, when really they suck. if i was trying to get clean, and i saw one of them all thoughts and hopes for actually doing so, would be flown right out the window.
