about to get 25mg of methadone, need some advice.

how much should i swallow? ive read it doesnt really have a time releasing mechanism so it doesnt make a difference to swallow whole or parachute, is this true? i have a tolerance to opiates. idk if its a big tolerance, but 100mg of hydro gets me good but makes me sick and 100mg of oxy im nodding. i used to shoot heroin a year ago but not anymore thank god. any advice? thanks
 
If your tolerance is 100 mg of the codones 10 mg might be to little. If you skip a day or two do you go into WDs? If you do you could safely take the 25 mg... As long as your not mixing. Methadone also takes a long time, relative to other opiods, to peak usually 2-3 hours. So if you don't feel something in 20-40 minutes that's normal. I usually start to feel methadone working around the 1 1/2 mark and builds for another hour. Since you don't feel the quick onset of methadone many are fooled into mixing or adding other substances into the mix and that's how methadone can be fatal. If your not familiar with methadone tred easily because it is a very potent opiod.

I would not mix anything with it if your not familiar with methadone.
It takes longer to peak(2-3 hours).
A long duration of action(long HL).
It's not as impacting as a regular opiod(opiate) in that it creeps up on you.

Just be careful. If you have not took opiates in awhile start with 10mg if your dependent on opiates and dose daily 100 mg 25 mg should nit be harmful but itself.
 
Methadone, like you say, doesn't seem to have a great onset. I've only ever taken it as prescribed but it always began to be noticeable at around 60-90mins. It's nice I guess, having a long drawn-out high.

I agree that 10mg will be too little. If it is, and I think it will be given your tolerance, you would then have wasted the opportunity and after waiting 60mins, redosing would already be too late. Just take it all orally.

so i ended up taking 15mg and my girl 10mg. i took them at about 230pm and im just feeling strong effect now at 230am. maybe cause most of the day i was in that austin heat 102 degrees? this could be placebo idk cause i dont feel anything anymore but tired. should i take more next time? 15mg didnt really make me feel much at all but i didnt redose as i read on the internet not to.
 
There is no way the methadone took 12 hours to kick in. It takes 2 - 4 hours to reach peak levels, but i think its just what you said - you were active all day and too fucking hot to enjoy your high, so when you finally got to chill and relax u got to fully appreciate and feel the high.

And if it takes 100mg of hydro/oxy for you to get off and you have a history of IV heroin use, then I would recommend 30mg of methadone for a good high, 40 - 50mg to visit nodville.

Just don't mix any benzos or alcohol with it if your using 40-50mg because that would start to get dangerous. Methadone is fucking lethal combined with benzos.
 
10-15mgs for your first time sounds good. my first time i had umm i think 15mgs with 1mg kpin + 300mgs lyrica + 15mgs oxy + lots of weed and that day was fucking amazgin!!!

the only down part was that i couldnt pee for 5-6 hours and i felt like my bladder was seriously about to explode. it was really uncomfortable

thanks, ill try 50mg next time
 
i just picked up 50mg, but decided after reading online more to only ingest 35mg of it. i have 3 of these 5mg left, should i pop another one to nod? or should i just stay with this and "give away" the others?
and also, i know the bioavailability of methadone orally is very good but does it differ with the brand? like i have methadose, is the % different from amidone or dolophine?
 
yea i should of taken all 50mg of it. how much do you advice to take next time? idk now that i have a tolerance. i took, 15mg one day and 40mg the next.
i want to nod out

So 40 didn't have you feeling good? I have 100 mg and am wondering how much I should take as a recreational dose. I take 2 mg of bupe a day though.
