About finding real LSD-25..

I think EnchantedMonkey up there is posting while intoxicated, going off on tangents outside the context of the thread and what not, heh.

LSD still exists and makes the rounds. The illegality and cultural history of it have made it somewhat exclusive, and lent it the mystique of being some Holy Grail of psychedelics. It's a great "full spectrum" psychedelic, but that's it. People expect to have an amazing time with it because they've got THE LSD -- and behold, psychological priming works! If 4-AcO-DMT or 2C-E or DPT could have magically been put on blotters in the 60's and transferred into the experience of everyone who took acid back then one of them would have the mystique today and LSD, while probably ending up as one of the more popular designer legals, would nevertheless be called a "dirty" "synthetic" RC by many others out of sheer ignorance.

I'd say DPT definitely has its fair share of mystique. Stuff scares the shit out of me though. I've got 500mg in my closet I won't be touching for a long fucking time.

@ op - Lucy is still around mate. It's just about who you know. I wouldn't guess anyone 'regularly' makes it though. There is probably a lab set up once or twice a year with however many grams of crystal made and then pack up for a while and sell that shit.

An overwhelming majority of tested "LSD" samples in recent times were found negative for LSD. The scenarios varied from the sample being just paper, to, in most instances containing compounds such as DO(x) and 25(x)-NBOME. In addition, there have been multiple instances where unintentional use of these substances has resulted in hospitalization. The only way to assure you are getting real LSD is to get it from someone you trust AND test it. Here is a guide that might help you to rule out other compounds when you don't have a test kit, but seriously, get a test kit, they aren't that expensive.

If you're referencing that article about the people who get paid by people who are already suspicious of what they have to test drugs finding that lots of drugs they tested aren't what the buyers thought they were, then yes, it's an epidemic. Give me DEA Microgram as a barometer of the scene over that any day. Don't get me wrong. I'm not denying that other shit is sold as LSD. But LSD is still very much in existence.

I was never one of the people who said it's impossible to get real LSD, I just think there is a lot of fake or low-quality "LSD" out there and there is no way to know for sure what you're getting if you don't test it. In my experience it was a lot easier to find good/real LSD in the past, now I don't even bother with it. I am going for plant psychedelics these days anyway.

Also personally I would never trust the DEA when it comes to drugs, but I would be interested in reading any Microgram report on the percentage of drugs sold as LSD that were 100% real LSD if such a report exists. I still wouldn't necessarily find it a representative sample either though.
