Is there anything I could take to help give me energy through the day. Its been 7 Days off of the H and I still have no energy to even get out of bed, tho I got to work and I just feel like shit all damn day. Any suggestions would be nice? Nothing that requires a Doctor cause I have no insuarance :(

Do you mean...well, methamphetamine would give you energy, but I'm not sure if this is what you mean or are looking for. You could also just eat right, sleep well, take vitamins, etc. until your body and brain recover.

Ive been taking vitamins ands Potassium(Spelling). Tho sleeping is tough right now. Just was wondering if there is anykind of OTC or Herbal energy things

Diphenhydramine MIGHT help you sleep but I always found that that exacerbated my RLS from opioid WD so maybe that would not work. Try melatonin, that's always good, but kind of weak. Valerian too maybe.

Valerian tea and melatonin will help you sleep, practice good nutrition, moderate exercise, meditation, plenty of fresh air and sunshine. B vitamin complex and antioxidants (Vit E 100 IU per day, Vit C 500 per day, fish oil or Evening Primrose oil). Take a sauna to sweat out the toxins.

You're only seven days out. Think of all the damage you did to your body. Practice the above and you'll heal slowly but steadily.

Are there any particular symptoms that are particularly bothering you? When I detoxed I took anything that had Antihistamines to try and help with sleep (but depending on how bad you are in w/d it might not help, I remember at the worst of it, nothing I did would help me sleep). Anything that has Antihistamines in them might help, they can induce drowsiness. With that said, warm showers would help me with the body aches and sometimes allow me to get some rest too. Hang in there & good luck!

but his main problem here is acquiring energy, not getting to bed. I do realize that these things can easily be one in the same, but this is what I would do for you

I take Vitamin B12 every day. it's a great vitamin that also gives a little energy boost (some feel it more than others)

but also if you just can't get out of bed, I would recommend drinking a cup or two of coffee in the morning. after a cup or two, my motivation skyrockets

also - laying in bed all day drastically reduces your chances of getting to sleep that night. drink a cup of coffee, take a couple of B12, and FORCE yourself out there!!

Hydroxyzine would be potentially a good choice, unlike diphenhydramine, it doesn't have the nasty increase in RLS symptoms (I've gotten them even in the upper body, which is hell, having the RLS symptoms in your hands is sooo uncomfortable). So maybe look for that for a sleep aid. Getting your self out and exercising a few hours before bed helps as well (with a nice warm shower afterwards). Basically forcing yourself to live a healthy life is what is going to help decrease the period of time your in discomfort.

yes but sleeping is what is going to help the most.

before sleep: valerian root, kava kava
during the day: magnesium, potassium, lots of water, GO TO THE GYM, eat the best you can

exercise will be the best man. get to the gym and do some cardio. im talking about an hour total of cardio AT LEAST. you will be FLOATING when you step off the ELLIPTICAL machine. don't do the treadmill as that will just fuck up your knees.

Lol I have to try the elliptical machine while in mild methadone withdrawal..

Sounds like it would be an interesting sensation.

I have had the whole body RLS before too, WD RLS compounded by benadryl, I think it was the most uncomfortable I've ever been in my whole life.

getting iron and proteins in ya, find the best steak ever..think of the money you have saved and go nuts on great healthy food , no carbs.

Marijuana - it definitely helps.

I find this to be true only of Landrace Indica's or at least Indica dominant hybrids.....but then i like to sleep through W/d...If the Op went this route,I guess using a heavy sativa, preferrably a land race equatorial Sativa would give the most energy and give relief from aches etc.(bet yall didn't know OG was a Cannabis Connoisseur did ya :P )

Usually while in withdrawal people don't nourish themselves right.. so if that's the case, force your self to eat some food and most importantly stay hydrated.

^^They also say staying well hydrated if you can manage it too will help with the leg cramps / Restless Leg Syndrome

Yup cramps are a sign of dehydration you are correct (not pos about hte rls but yeah I am sure you are right).
