Abnormal tolerance to opiates maybe? Or something else? Ideas please!

For about the last 3 years I've been eating Tramadol when it was available. Before I researched it or knew about the seizure risk, the first time I tried trams I ate 4 50mg pills just to see what that would do. Bout an hour later I was dissatisfied so I poped 4 more... still wasn't happy so I popped 4 more...... That day I ate 25 50mg trams inside of about 3-4 hours. It was great-had lots of fun with no seizures. Now when I take them I eat at least 30 (often around 40 - 50) 50mg pills within about 6-8 hours. Crazy right? I have a great time and never seize. In fact, I never even have withdrawal symptoms! I shit you not! I just (about 1 hour ago) I popped 13, which is usually what I start out with to get me going. I've got 37 more to keep me going for awhile. I've been using since I was 15 (the majority of my using was smokin pot) and I'm 41 yrs old now. Now-a-days my drug of choice are opiates. I've gone on binges lasting weeks on everything from oxy's to dillaudids to bangin H.. I shit you not, I've never even been dope sick! Sure I've felt a little crummy after for a couple days after a binge, but nothing even close to dope sick! I've seen dope sick at its worst.. I wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy! But personally don't even know what it feels like. My using buddies call me Mr. Fresh (not sure why, guess cause I'm always fresh from withdrawal). I don't even know if this I a good or bad thing. Sometimes I worry it'll all catch up to me at once someday, which I'm sure would mean instant death. But Ican hang with the best of them but without the consequences (so far). I never understood why.

Anyone else like this? Anyone have any ideas as to how this can be? Or if this is a disaster waiting to happen?

Disclaimer - taking that amount of tramadol is very dangerous and would cause seizures in many people.

Have you gone over a week without any opiates/opioids lately? My withdrawals used to take 5 days before they even started, so when I was useing every 2-3 days I didn't think I would experience withdrawals either, but then I switched to using just on weekends and I would be sick on Friday after using Saturday and Sunday. Over the years my withdrawals started to came on quicker and with even less of a habit for them to start, but that wasn't always the case.

That is a metric-fuck-ton of Tramadol! lol. Seriously I'd be careful, that stuff can make you seize at much lower doses than what you posted but I see the disclaimer the Mod put up....Do you have any benzos? Mixing benzos and opioids can be dangerous but if you happen to feel a seizure coming on it might be nice to have some sub lingual klonopin or ativan ready....even a regular old xanax would be good. As for switching to another opioid thats similar but stronger...first one that came to mind was Levorphanol which from what I've read is quite the opioid and very stimulating having other action than just µ-opioid agonism, very rare though, Tillidine is another one but its similar strength and again rare, only heard of it in Germany...Oxycodone is a very stimulating opioid but does not really effect norepi or serotonin like Levorphanol, or Tramadol do, although Ive heard in higher doses Oxycodone does show some action on norepi and most people tend to report that its a more stimulating opioid (including myself :D). Another thing to look up might be Dextromethorphan to help maintain tolerance? I had a friend who did that successfully...

Yea its been 2 days on the trams this time but prior to that I hadn't touched anything for over a month. I definitely don't make it a daily habit of using like I used to not too long ago. But even back then I never had anything more than a one or two day slight hangover affect after weeks long binges.

Yea actually my favorite next to good old fashioned H is Hydromorphone (Dilaudid). Every now and then I'll spend about a week on those and have a blast! (I do get some sleep during the time). But, again, no dope sick.

Well, here's the real question...when you use or "binge", how many days in a row do you use? If you don't keep opiates in your system for X amount of time (only use a day or 2 at a time) then you never build up a dependence on them so that is why your withdrawal is so very slight.

I usually stay buzzed for about 48 hours, then take a 3-4 hour nap, wake up and start again. I'm still high from the previouse 48 hrs when I wake up though. I've binged like this as long as 3 weeks before.

I just had to break up with my girlfriend that kinda sucks though...

No. Its kinda complicated but basically this girl has a bad habit of being a bad slacker, and right now she's got a lot of shit on her plate she's supposed to be taking care of, like making it to her doctors appointments because she has very serious health probs. Also she is living in a womens shelter (she has a stalker ex boyfriend) and is supposed to be working on getting her own place for her and her daughter. I made a deal with her that I would stay with her as long as she took care of her medical and housing issues for her and her daughters sake. She had a lawyer and a court date to get some disability funding that she needs for housing and to help take care of her daughter. So what does she do? She drops the attourney and now has to represent herself (I have no idea how that happened), then she gets into a fight with the shelter supervisor so now she's at risk of getting kicked out of there with no place to go and no income. She always pulls this kinda shit which is why I told her to get her shit together and grow up or I would leave her. She used to stay with me at my place until she got into it with my landlord. Now she's not even allowed on the property.
Anyway I love her but I'm sick of trying to help her just to have here screw everything up, so its by-by baby.

I've decided after this tram binge I'm done with the trams for good. I figure anything I gotta take that much of just for a good buzz may eventually catch up to me in a bad way and its just not worth the risk.

Haha I can't claim I made it up myself but It caught on with me from a friend! As for tolerance...some people have different tolerances naturally...I know people who can binge on Oxycodone for days and don't even know what withdrawal is. Its quite interesting. Gosh I'm craving some Hydromorphone right now! I love that stuff! I used to get that Exalgo crap and figured out how to break it down so I could use about 8mg~ at once and HydroM is such a strong rush, I'd just take it by mouth but it felt so strong.
