Abilify, psychadelics

Hi i just got prescribed abilify and i was wondering if it had any interactions with any psychadelics specifically ketamine, bk-mdma, mdma, acid or the 2c's. I looked and did not find ample info except for that it may block k. Any info that anyone has would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hey mate, I've found that while on abilify DXM is very dissociative but not visual whatsoever, I'd assume K would be similar.
With acid and mushrooms I've found again a complete lack of visuals but still tripping mentally

As it is a 5-HT2A antagonist, among other things, it should also block psychedelics. We have some reports from people who found it decreased their enjoyment of stimulants as well. In general, expect antipsychotics to make recreational drugs less enjoyable.

I know someone who was on Abilify, and they weren't able to trip off of even a large dose of 2C-T-2. No visuals, nothing. I have also watched other people abort bad trips with the compound. If you do take a psychedelic or empathogen whilst on this stuff, you definitely won't experience the "proper" range of effects of your chosen compound, and it will be significantly less enjoyable than if you weren't taking it.

Please note: you should be able to get effects from ketamine, but again there will be differences in the experience. You will feel the NMDA antagonism of the ketamine, but the Abilify will still be exerting it's effects on your entire brain functioning and so it will not be the same. I would presume the visual effects would be markedly less intense and there will be great qualitative differences.

In all honesty, it just won't be worth attempting to trip whilst taking it.

It depends on your dosage of abilify. My dude, who was taking 7,5mg of abi every second day ( he was ending the treatment), tripped as well with 4 ho-met ( 33mg) as me but generally the fact is abi decreases effects of psychedelics.
